Wonderful food and top service. A must visit restaurant.

Excellent dinner in the center of Ortigia, on a charming little street. The red shrimp tartare was excellent and plentiful. The grilled swordfish was superb, as was the grilled calamari, which was excellent (perhaps the portion was small for the price). Overall, a great dinner!

We treated ourselves to a special dinner and were blown away by the menu. The ingredients were top-quality and incredibly fresh. My girlfriend and I fell in love with the cuisine. The service was impeccable, precise, and professional. The atmosphere was simple and elegant. It will be a must-visit in Ortigia.

The best sea urchin pasta I've ever had! Truly generous food and service. Probably one of the best places in all of Sicily.

Always excellent, a little extra courtesy wouldn't hurt.

Excellent restaurant, we had a wonderful dinner. Top-quality products prepared with recipes that reflect Sicilian tradition. We particularly appreciated the attention shown to the customers by both the owners and the waitresses. Excellent advice on food and wine pairings. Every suggestion was invaluable. I recommend trying the shrimp tartare and the Mazara shrimp. We will definitely be back.

We were booking in advance. However, when we arrived we were waiting 10 min and three different persons were asking if we have a booking. The calamari fritti were the main highlight. The pasta alla Norma (one of the only vegetarian dishes) was somehow acid and I wouldn’t recommend it. The other dishes were average and the best within pasta options was the one with gamberetti. I find it is not worth quality / price.

We recently visited the restaurant and ordered two pasta dishes. One was lobster pasta, but it did not taste like lobster and did not have any pieces in it that looked anything like lobster. It almost resembled tuna or another fish out of a can. We took two small pieces out of the pasta to check them and they did not resemble any lobster we had ever eaten. I have included a picture with the two pieces we pulled out. Also, we sat outside and some of the staff just hung around and chit-chatted. It did not make for good service or atmosphere. We would not dine here again.

Ambiente un po' piccino, ma ben organizzato con tavoli sia all'interno che all'esterno. Posizione strategica per essere ad un passo dal duomo, ma non inghiottito dalla confusione del passeggio che da sempre caratterizza l'isola. Andando al sodo: il servizio è stato rapido e curato, il cibo è buono e si nota l'attenzione per gli ingredienti. Perchè 4 stelle? Perchè ho provato uno dei piatti speciali e mi ha un po' deluso... gli darei 3 stelle. Il resto del cibo 4 stelle meritate e in particolare, da 5 stelle piene con chapeau finale: la tartare di gambero! Buonissima. Abbiamo pagato circa 45 a testa, prendendo un antipasto a testa e un primo/secondo con prosecco e acqua. Le porzioni non sono piccole, noi siamo usciti molto sazi.

Premetto che siamo siciliani e io cresciuto in questa città. Conoscevo già questo ristorante e vivendo al nord volevamo riassaporare i sapori della nostra terra. Il menù é tipico della Sicilia occidentale e più precisamente del trapanese. Quasi tutto a base di pesce, soprattutto antipasti e primi esprimono tradizione e ricerca. Le materie prime utilizzate sono di grande qualità e abbiamo passato una bella serata in una location dall’atmosfera calda ed elegante. Buona carta dei vini con grande varietà di bottiglie siciliane. Ottima la selezione di bottiglie di olio di oliva bio e IGP dal sapore intenso e strutturato. Abbiamo preso un antipasto di pesce cotto, buona proposta. Il primo speciale di fettuccine con ricci e gambero TOP ! Il tutto accompagnato da un rosé fresco e dal sapore marcato e minerale. Abbiamo trovato il personale e la gestione cordiale, professionale e attenta.
