Coming here to eat felt like dying and going straight to heaven! I was looking for a cozy restaurant that locals go to and found this place located not far from Arco della Pace. After checking out the reviews I knew I was going to get their famous veal with risotto and some red wine and OMG it was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this place!

Great food and loved the tripe. The interior was fantastic and felt really homey. The creme caramel custard made by the restaurant matriarch was the best item and mine blowing. The pasta was good but the Milanese cutlet was a bit plain, but that's not the restaurant's fault. It needed some ketchup to be honest hahah (don't kill me) Would come back to if I was in Milan.

I had read reviews so decided to find this place to try and so glad we did. It’s a little out of the way but so worth it. Traditional Italian food which was so good. Of course we had the risotto and the veal cutlet which was perfecto! House red was delicious and service was excellent. We did not have a reservation but they found us a table when it opened but it quickly filled up with locals so if your keen I would try and reserve a table especially if you have more than 2 people. Everyone seemed to be ordering the osso bucco so that was very popular. Highly recommend.

Excellent Trattoria in Milan. Typical local dishes, tasty food and great prices. Excellent service and cozy atmosphere. You eat well for a fair price, as well as trying local cuisine.

Avevamo voglia di una buona milanese e l’abbiamo trovata… panatura croccante e patate dí contorno buone. Lato dolente il prezzo , 34 euro, più 10 euro per un calice di vino, e purtroppo tavolino piccolo e attaccato ai vicini , per fortuna stranieri. Personale gentile e locale carino.

Esperienza sicuramente positiva in questo ristorante storico nel quale si respira aria di tradizione antica. I sapori sono buoni, sia quello del risotto che della cotoletta. I prezzi un tantino eccessivi in ragione del gusto che seppur buono non stupisce. Da provare per vivere un tuffo nel passato ma con la consapevolezza che si può mangiare altrettanto bene a prezzi giusti

08/04/2025: I ate the osso buco with the Milanese risotto here. It was excellent! The servers are helpful. On the other hand the price... for me a trattoria is family cooking and it's often inexpensive (having been to Florence and Rome) but over 40€ for a risotto and an osso buco... I really enjoyed it

29/03/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant with colleagues and had a great time. The dishes were delicious, prepared with quality ingredients. The service was impeccable, with attentive and professional staff. The careful decoration adds to the charm of the place. It's not a cheap restaurant, but it's good value for money. A very good address in this corner of Milan!
