Came for lunch and did not feel very welcomed by the servers, but the host was very kind to us. The Osso Buca was delicious, but I was not amazed by the risotto and other dishes we ordered.

If you want to dive into the "al matarel" tradition, this is for you! From the moment you enter you understand that everything has remained where it should have remained in order to guarantee an authentic and good restaurant! Greeted by two smiling young people, they made us sit down, after a few minutes we had menus, water and a basket of bread at the table! After ordering, the dishes arrived: generous portions, home-made flavours, piping hot and served as you would expect from a restaurant of this type. Tourists, families and couples who already knew the restaurant or who wanted to try it! Well done, you won me over! I'll be back! I recommend it! Ps. They are very strict when booking but it is well described on the site!

I don't even know where to start. The best meal I've had in Italy. Oldschool dishes. Everything is at top level - just as it's supposed to be. Like your Italian grandma's dream dinner.

A wonderful mix of authentic, classy, and inviting. All the dishes were very good or exceptional! We were tourists from the states and the staff was kind and patient with us. If you eat meat, their #1 dish is Ossobuco (the risotto is fine, the meat is outstanding), also must try one of the Cotoletta(veal). The tortelloni is so fresh and handmade tasting.
I would come back here any time I’m in Milan! Well priced, great service, great authentic atmosphere.

Retro but pleasant atmosphere although, with what you pay, at least the bathroom could be spruced up a bit... Oh well!! Normal service, quite fast and friendly.. Good food with good raw materials!! Excellent cutlet but a little small.. Risotto in gremolada with ossobuco really good but I have eaten equally good if not perhaps better ones at significantly lower prices! !! Oh well, you pay for the name...
Must try!

Quando vuoi mangiare milanese questo è il posto migliore! In un' atmosfera caratteristica di vecchia Osteria abbiamo degustato l' ossobuco che si scioglieva in bocca, accompagnato da un risotto alla milanese cotto a puntino e ben mantecato e la cotoletta con l'osso leggera e croccante cotta nel burro; ne vale veramente la pena!! Ottima anche la zuppa inglese e per finire il servizio rapido simpatico e cortese , che si vuole di più?

Esperienza sicuramente positiva in questo ristorante storico nel quale si respira aria di tradizione antica. I sapori sono buoni, sia quello del risotto che della cotoletta. I prezzi un tantino eccessivi in ragione del gusto che seppur buono non stupisce. Da provare per vivere un tuffo nel passato ma con la consapevolezza che si può mangiare altrettanto bene a prezzi giusti
