Absolutely evocative environment, housed in a building from the 1300s. Excellent food, especially the appetizer crostini and the first courses with homemade pasta. Young, fast, kind and prepared waiters. The welcoming and convivial owner promotes his products with passion. 5 stars would be too few for each category. Highly recommended!

We went to this restaurant for a family Sunday lunch. The restaurant is located inside an old medieval building, with stone walls and terracotta floors all well cared for. The food is excellent and the portions very generous: praise for the lard crouton, which for me is extraordinary. The only small flaw about the service: although the waiters were very kind and friendly, they forgot a dish (then promptly served) and two of the coffees we had ordered. All in all, not huge mistakes that didn't affect our experience. Quality/price ratio well beyond expectations: for a complete lunch we spent 32 euros each, a rarity and a surprise considering current price standards. Great experience

Located along a descending staircase, in an alley in the center of Perugia, you can try typical, quality Umbrian dishes; great service; among the best in Perugia.

When you go back it means that the experience was satisfactory. Quality and fresh food, with daily variations. The portions are well balanced. The service improved compared to last year. The place is very beautiful and particular in the heart of Perugia. Excellent and not to be missed

Everything was just perfect. The guys who work there are kind, friendly and approachable, but always professional and ready to provide explanations about the menu. The environment is warm and welcoming, the dishes are sensational and plentiful. We will definitely be back!

Ottimo cibo, prevalentemente tradizionale, servito in questa osteria accogliente e ben arredata. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto alto e i camerieri sono molto gentili e disponibili. Nota di merito per la pasta alla norcina, la torta al testo appena sfornata e il dolce del giorno (torta al cioccolato con caramello salato), davvero ottimi! Ci torneremo

Siamo stati in questo ristorante dove abbiamo mangiato un’ottima pizza. Vedendo gli invitanti piatti di pasta che passavano tra i tavoli, abbiamo deciso di tornarci e provarli, rimanendo colpiti dalla bontà degli Umbricelli.

04/01/2025: I was there today for lunch. Excellent restaurant, quality raw materials worked with skill and imagination. Always impeccable service, private and welcoming atmosphere.
16/12/2024: I returned to this restaurant after a year. The atmosphere inside is intimate and welcoming, while the outdoor space is framed by the buildings of the historic center. Right from the start you are welcomed by the courteous and knowledgeable staff, ready to carefully explain the dishes. The selection of bread prepared by the chef is excellent and varied, particularly the tomato focaccia. The menu is well structured and reasoned, as are the dishes of the day. But what brings me back to Apollinare most of all are the hand-rolled tortelli with a tasty burrata filling emphasized by flakes of Moscato truffle and cherry tomato reduction. As a sweet conclusion, try the dark chocolate semifreddo with white chocolate cream and pink pepper. I therefore recommend this restaurant which is always a certainty and an obligatory stop for anyone passing through Spoleto.

03/11/2024: We went for lunch yesterday with 4 adults with 3 children... who also made a bit of a mess 😅 the food was excellent from starters to desserts, the chef was truly top!!! The girl in the room had a unique kindness, with everyone, a lot of patience and professionalism, always with a smile... If I lived in Città di Castello I would go there every day, it's rare to find people like that. Thank you so much and if you pass by there go there you won't regret it. Super super recommended!!!
