It's my go-to place every time I'm in Perugia. The selection and quality are truly incredible, accompanied by a professionalism and expertise that's always a pleasure. A special mention goes to Egsona, whose recommendation—pappardelle with white ragù—led me to a true paradise. If you're in Perugia, you absolutely must come here!

The first courses were good, the meat was good, the tripe excellent. The only flaw was the Scamorza Fondue with Truffle, which had no hint of truffle whatsoever... We've dined at other inns and trattorias, and they sliced ​​the truffle (summer truffle, that is) finely in front of us, not minced it. Furthermore, the aroma was truffle and you could smell it right away.

Una location che si fa apprezzare per aver conservato i locali con volte a mattoni tipici medioevali e altrettanto per la tradizione culinaria. Unico neo ma forse meglio così, non vi è ricezione quindi si dialoga sorseggiando un buon vino, locale !

Cibo eccezzionale, gli affettati e i formaggi veramente divini, anche la grigliata di maiale senza parole...... il personale molto cortese e gentile .Consiglio di prenotare perche sempre pieno

05/10/2025: I found this place by searching reviews. It already had a high rating, but in my opinion it deserves a 6 out of 5. Wonderful dishes, especially the pork belly and grilled porcini mushrooms. I can't wait to go back.
03/10/2025: What a wonderful discovery! The place is delightful, with attention to detail and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and attentive to their guests' needs. The menu offers interesting options, beautifully presented, and made with quality ingredients. Each dish was a pleasant surprise. The desserts were also excellent! A place I will definitely return to and highly recommend to anyone looking for good food and a pleasant experience.

14/10/2025: On Friday, October 10, 2025, we have a birthday celebration, and remembering a previous experience, I decided to recommend this restaurant. The restaurant is simple and elegant, with stone walls and beautiful paintings, some of which depict the city of Assisi itself. We were warmly welcomed upon entry and reluctantly decided not to dine on the wonderful terrace overlooking the square (unfortunately, it was a windy evening). Once seated, we were presented with a simple menu of traditional dishes, including the fillet steak with Sagrantino reduction and truffle, a truly commendable dish. The extensive wine list emphasizes local producers but also includes Italian and international wines, especially French sparkling wines. The impeccable and particularly fast service pleasantly surprised us. The price was excellent, in line with the location, menu, and service. The owner was friendly and told us a little anecdote about his "Amatriciana." Go try it!
13/10/2025: Sublime Umbrian fare with impeccable service. A truly transcendental epicurean experience.
