We have been several times and it has always been a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and doesn't put pressure on service or timetables. The food is delicious and of high quality. The environment is welcoming but at the same time alternative. Advised!

Typical Milanese restaurant where you can eat divinely and taste traditional Lombard dishes. Excellent desserts are also served. The place is very well furnished.

Trattoria in zona Lambrate a Milano arredata in modo simpatico anche se la tettoia della seconda sala è squallida. Affettati nella media ma la mortadella era dozzinale
Un pò secca la cotoletta buone le patate purtroppo arrivate fredde. Dolci buoni ma un pò cari, comunque da consigliare. Prezzo in linea con i ristoranti di Milano

All very good! The cuisine is Lombard with Piedmontese additions. The dishes were truly delicious, carefully prepared and plentiful. Among the super classic dishes, there are also some more original ones, among which I really appreciated the caramelized red onion strudel. The staff very kind and helpful. Don't be put off by the somewhat modest external appearance (I imagine deliberately). The interior, created from an old greenhouse, is very nice, furnished in twentieth century style with pieces that reminded me of my childhood days, such as the old stove that my grandmother used. Definitely recommended!

Sono stato invitato a sorpresa al ristorante Al’Less a Milano, un posto che non conoscevo, per una cena con tre amici. Avevo chiesto di andare in una trattoria tipica milanese, e sono stato accontentato in pieno! Il menu ha superato ogni aspettativa: dallo strudel di cipolle rosse caramellate ai mondeghili con purè, polenta con la Zola, risotto alla milanese con ossobuco, tortelli di zucca con noci, agnolotti al ragù di Fassona, la classica cotoletta milanese con patate al forno e il gran bollito. Tutto accompagnato da un eccellente Nebbiolo delle Langhe.
Il ristorante si trova in una ex serra, semplice e casereccia, con arredi volutamente “vintage” che le conferiscono un fascino unico. Non lo definirei elegante, ma sicuramente accogliente e pulito, con tavoli e sedie che ricordano le vecchie trattorie.
Il servizio è stato impeccabile, gestito da un solo cameriere e il proprietario: entrambi cordiali, rilassati e sempre disponibili. Non c’è un doppio turno, così chi arriva alle 19 può godersi la serata fino a chiusura, come abbiamo fatto noi.
È stata una serata splendida, con piatti semplici ma ottimi, realizzati con materie prime eccellenti e a prezzi equilibrati. Non vedo l’ora di tornare! Bravissimi!

I was unexpectedly invited to the Al'Less restaurant in Milan, a place I didn't know, for a dinner with three friends. I asked to go to a typical Milanese trattoria, and I was fully satisfied! The menu exceeded all expectations: from the caramelized red onion strudel to the mondeghili with purée, polenta with Zola, Milanese risotto with ossobuco, pumpkin tortelli with walnuts, agnolotti with Fassona ragù, the classic Milanese cutlet with baked potatoes and the big boiled meat. All accompanied by an excellent Nebbiolo from the Langhe.
The restaurant is located in a former greenhouse, simple and homemade, with deliberately "vintage" furnishings that give it a unique charm. I wouldn't call it elegant, but certainly welcoming and clean, with tables and chairs reminiscent of old trattorias.
The service was impeccable, managed by just one waiter and the owner: both friendly, relaxed and always available. There is no double shift, so those who arrive at 7pm can enjoy the evening until closing, like we did.
It was a splendid evening, with simple but excellent dishes, made with excellent raw materials and at balanced prices. I can't wait to return! Well done!
