My favorite restaurant in Gorizia! Recommend: pinsa, pizza, carbonara (!!!), cacio e pepe, and the desserts. Especially the tiramisu with pistacchio.

We were going to eat a pizza on 06/14/2025 after having been there many years ago, and in fact it didn't seem like the same pizzeria anymore. New place with a very well-kept entrance. We booked the day before to avoid the wait but above all to arrive and not find a table for 2 people. We asked for a plate of S/G chips before the pizzas arrived and after a couple of minutes they brought them to the table (+1). S/G pizza + S/L mozzarella with scamorza and speck.... my wife asked if the scamorza was lactose-free and the manager, not knowing, went to the kitchen for a moment to ask and when she returned she confirmed that it was S/L (+1), instead I had a classic calzone with cooked ham and it was well cooked but above all delicious as was the S/G pizza which according to my wife was ultra-good (+1). Courteous service and ready for every request (+1). Two tiramisu, one S/G and S/L, and a "classic" one, both normal. Fair account and super in line. My score if I could give it is 9.5 because perfection does not exist and then because you can always improve in small aspects that make you earn precious tenths. Sincere compliments to the owners and all the staff!!!

Here I have several things to say, first of all the cashier is rude! Let's start from the beginning. When we arrived at the place they made us sit down, and a good 20 minutes passed to receive the menus and here we already got off to a bad start! Once we decided what to order, the waitress told us that whatever the kitchen would do would take at least 1 hour, so some people decided on purpose not to wait an hour to get the pizzas! After more than an hour the pasta arrived first to those who ordered it, and then the pizzas! As for the pasta, I have to compliment the chef who prepared it because it was phenomenal, really! While the pizzas were unwatchable, and inedible, from a pasta like that you expect the pizzas to be of that level too! While that is not the case! The friarielli were disgusting, the pizza with the aubergines, they were raw! The friarielli is more understandable because it is not the season, but even there it is better not to serve them if they taste like that! But the raw aubergines also not! Then once reported to the right people in the place, his answer "no impossible, we fry them first, it can't be" I'll let you understand someone who answers like that... deserves only a terrible review!

Siamo passati casualmente davanti a questo ristorante,mentre ci dirigevamo al palazzo Attems Petzenstein, che in questi giorni ospita l' esposizione di Andy Warhol. Essendo l'ora di pranzo, siamo entrati.Dal menù vengono elencate varie pietanze della cucina romana e noi sorpresi, abbiamo voluto ordinare come antipasto qualcosa che ci ricordasse la nostra Roma, come un calzone ripieno di scarola, mozzarella e pomodori secchi. Superbo! A seguire del baccalà fritto con contorni di patatine e un carciofo ( ahimé non propriamente "alla romana"!) buona ed appetitosa l' insalatona mista con prosciutto di praga. Servizio veloce e garbato. Consigliato!
