One of my favorite places, top quality and fresh ingredients! The staff is nothing short of fantastic, always friendly, prepared and ready to accommodate those like me who have various intolerances! If you want to eat well and have a great atmosphere, come here!

Perfect for a couple's dinner, a very well-kept and welcoming place that manages to combine the rustic with the modern. Furthermore there is the possibility of eating both inside and outside. Very courteous, knowledgeable and professional dining room staff. The dishes offered on the menu are not many but they satisfy every palate. Their tartare is excellent, always present in the menu which changes depending on the season. This time I opted for a king crab salad served in burrata and a spaghetti with sardines, both excellent. On other occasions I tried their grilled meat and it was also very good. What can I say... highly recommended if you find us in the area.

A real highlight of our holiday – like every time! We have been to this restaurant several times and are thrilled every time. The dishes are consistently delicious, fresh and prepared with great attention to detail - you can simply taste the quality. The ambience is also very nice: stylish, cozy and designed with a lot of love, so that you immediately feel at home. The staff are always warm and attentive, further helping to make every visit special. Eating here has become a tradition for us – and a real treat every time!

Our path took us once again to the wonderful Grado, but this time we didn't want to eat directly in town but somewhere in the surrounding area, so we came across Al Granaio, which is a 12-minute drive from Grado near Aquilea. A few years ago, the family fulfilled their dream of owning their own property with some land and a few pets. How comfortable you feel here can be seen in the cuisine, service and the cozy atmosphere. According to the highly friendly, good German-speaking host, with whom we chatted for a long time after the meal, the menu changes every two months and is primarily based on the regional range of food. And that's still very exciting even in February. The last pumpkins (Mmmmm!) are being processed, I didn't know black cabbage yet, Cime di Rapa is only known to Italian lovers. In addition, of course, the fruits of the sea. Buttery soft squid, pasta with Sicilian-style sardines with raisins, and wonderful mini calamari were on our food list. Of course, the country offers a lot of excellent vegetarian as well as animal food. I was very happy to see the guinea fowl, which are often bred in Friuli. Delicate in consistency and taste. Excellent! The wine list is also wonderful, with the wide range of excellent wineries in the Friuli region well represented. Winemakers with organic, biodynamic and natural wines are also well represented. Pricing of the wine list, as usual in the area, is particularly accommodating. The prices of the food are also quite fair given the high quality. Summary: This was our first visit, but certainly not the last. We're looking forward to being able to sit outside.
