Small restaurant at the end of a quiet street in old Bari. A great discovery. The pasta (carbonara and bolognese) is divine. The best we've ever eaten. And what can I say about the homemade tiramisu, a treat!! The welcome is as good as the cuisine, perfect!

What a hidden Gem in the old town of Bari - a very warm welcome and great food awaits you. We were welcomed by Enza the owner as though we were a regular, such a warm and inviting welcome. The food was superb and plentiful. The service was great and nothing was too much trouble. The Focaccia was light and full of lovely tomato flavours. The Spaghetti Bolognaise was recommended and it didn’t not disappoint- definitely worth trying! To round off and not one for coffee I did try the Tiramisu and was delighted I did. So light and not overpowering. Definitely a place to add to your list if you’re in Bari!

Excellent and abundant cuisine in the heart of Bari Vecchia Restaurant in the heart of the ancient city of Bari. The owner Enza is super welcoming and sunny, ready to recommend the best dishes of the day. The fish is always very fresh and is available in a great variety of both first and second courses. The portions are really abundant and generous. The menu is rich and offers traditional dishes from Puglia and beyond. Thanks to Enza for always making us feel at home.

A very good restaurant with a warm welcome. We waited, which is a good sign, everything is homemade!! Very friendly and attentive staff. Very reasonable prices. I recommend!!!

08/07/2025: I am very happy to write a nice review for this restaurant which deserves it both for the particularly good, carefully prepared and innovative food and for the kindness and professionalism of ALL the staff.
05/07/2025: Top restaurant in Monopoli, I come very often and everything is always delicious. It has a menu that changes according to the season, with dishes studied in the smallest details with flavors that are not at all obvious. I recommend everyone to try it at least once, it will certainly be inevitable to return, all this also thanks to Enzo who makes you feel as if you were at home.
