AL Fortino In Bari

I had a typical risotto with seafruit and my husband had meat with vegetables, we enjoyed every chew. So delicious and cooked with love and fresh products ! Tiny restaurant with cozy atmosphere, very nice and personal service without being pushy. We really warmly recommend this nice restaurant!

The best pasta with octopus in Bari (freshly caught in the morning!) and Assassina (spicy pasta with beetroot). I recommend!!! Very nice service!!!

A place we discovered by chance while we were walking...the lady who welcomed us was very sweet and kind which in my opinion is a first calling card when you go to a place. She immediately put us at ease and offered us a small aperitif of olives and tarallini while we were waiting to decide what to choose from the menu. I chose a spaghetti with clams which was good but nothing exceptional. My partner a spaghetti all'assassina which was recommended to us with the addition of stracciata which was really excellent. Finally we had an exceptional mixed fry which was soft and tasty. for the bill the lady was very careful about the price, the stracciata on the pasta which was an addition she didn't charge for it. the final price was €43c made it €40 Recommended and I hope to be able to return both for the kindness and for the very generous dishes

Places like this give you one more reason to stay in the south, we had two spaghetti all'assassina, one with stracciatella and one without, the best we've tried so far. As dessert we took their homemade tiramisu and finally we were served an authentic flavour, without having been served pre-packaged and industrial products. The lady who served us was uniquely kind. Furthermore, at the end of lunch the chef explained to us what the typical elements of the dish are. We felt welcomed and at home. The word genuine describes this place.

Fast service, excellent quality of food, very kind owners

I have often had lunch at Fortino with friends and groups for work and we have always had a good time. The appetizers, peppered and parmigiana are excellent and the first courses are also very popular. Giuseppe and his wife, two very kind and helpful people. The location is excellent for eating in peace. Thank you and see you soon!
