We were a group of four and tried different pasta dishes—overall, the food was okay, nothing special but decent. We had a bottle of Negroamaro – Due Trulli, which was actually really nice and helped lift the meal a bit. Staff was polite, though communication was a bit tricky since English wasn’t their strong point. Still, a cozy spot if you’re nearby and not too picky.

Reasons for 5 stars for everything
・Reasonable price even though it is an authentic ristorante
・Customer service full of hospitality
・Whatever you eat is delicious. Tiramisu is excellent
Conclusion: Definitely recommended for traveling to Italy
Note: It cost 90 euros for 3 people with full stomachs, but I was mentally prepared for 150 euros.

Siamo stati un sabato a pranzo. Ho scoperto questo piccolo ristorante la gestione familiare, dove la cucina è semplice gli ingredienti sono di qualità e le preparazioni sono ottime. Abbiamo mangiato degli antipasti eccellenti, carciofi fritti, rape, panzerotti, mozzarelle eccetera, oltre a un ottimo pesce arrosto.

La gente de Al Focolare no podría haber sido mejor. Fueron amables, serviciales y muy amables con nosotros.
El restaurante es muy bonito, con paredes de piedra, arcos y obras de arte impresionantes.
Nos encantó la comida. Los mariscos eran frescos y deliciosos. Teníamos el plato de marisco frito. Estaba ligeramente rebozado, no grasiento, perfectamente cocido. También tenía espaguetis con fruiti di mare. Me encantó. Chef nos trató con algunos bouches divertidos; Focaccia barrese, burrata fresca. Él escogió nuestro vino para nosotros.
La cena no era demasiado cara. Sin duda volveríamos. Gracias a todos. Tutti molto gentili

A restaurant like those of the past, from the ambience to the flavours. Nothing is artificial, arranged or improvised like in many food shops scattered around the city. Excellent and varied starters typical of Apulian cuisine, first and second courses which do not disappoint expectations. We were really Well.

5 of us had dinner in this restaurant. Various hot appetizers including burrata, ham, mushrooms, fried olives, artichokes, aubergines, panzerotti, and hot focaccia. Everyone then chose from the first courses tagliatelle with (lots of) porcini mushrooms, broad beans and chicory, chop and meatballs with sauce, rice, potatoes and mussels. All accompanied by a good susumaniello. To finish dirty muss, nuns tits with chocolate and pistachio. The quality/price ratio is very high. We paid around €30 per person, an excellent price if we consider that today elsewhere they offer a plate of spaghetti all'assassina for €15 which is nothing more than burnt and spicy pasta with sauce.
