Good food, and a well-kept venue. The only flaw is the very slow table service. We booked half an hour after sitting at the table, despite calling the waiters several times. Otherwise, an excellent place, immersed in the baroque style of ancient Aci.

We booked a table for two on Sunday. The table was on a slightly sloped spot. I had read some reviews but thought they were being too generous in their ratings (let me start by saying that everyone has their own personal tastes and ideas). My personal opinions and tastes matched those of many others... We had a PIZZOLO SICULO, WHICH WAS WONDERFUL, the dough was soft even on the edges, we barely finished it. Next, we had 2 spaghetti with anchovies and breadcrumbs. These were also cooked excellently. The portions were truly generous, so much so that the pizzolo alone was enough. The service was regular, from the order to the pizzolo. Then, after we finished eating the spaghetti, it was left on the table too long, and when it was taken away, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else, like a bitter to help digest it all. We had to call someone later to order it. You might ask: why didn't you ask them at the time? Because we thought the person clearing the table was there just for that, while his other colleagues were there to take orders. The bill was in line with the food. Would I return? YES

There's a corner in Acireale, a bit hidden from the usual hustle and bustle of the main street, where your palate meets the taste of delicious dishes prepared with love and care. If you're passing through, a stop at Ficodindia is a must, with its lovely outdoor terrace and the Mediterranean cuisine we love so much.

Small place (like everything on the island of Vulcano) but everything else is top notch.

I’ve shared beautiful evenings here with my wife and dear friends, surrounded by laughter, good drinks, and the unforgettable flavors of Sicily. The piazza outside is full of life, just steps from the center of Acireale, yet it feels like its own little world. There’s a magic to this place that keeps calling us back. And without a doubt, we’ll keep coming.

Excellent restaurant, we had a pistachio pizzolo, which was truly delicious! The staff were kind and friendly.

Recommended by a local lady we had a great time. Very simple place but with genuine and well-prepared food. I absolutely recommend a visit.

What can I say simply quality, the pizzas are very good not to mention the semifreddi which are nothing short of delicious, kind and friendly staff, normal prices, in a few words I recommend it because you can eat everything from meat to fish and it is truly good
