Probably the best restaurant I've ever eaten at in Rome. Perhaps due to its distance from the tourist attractions (except for San Giovanni in Laterano), the prices are absolutely affordable and fair, and the place has a simple, authentic atmosphere of yesteryear. I felt like I was stepping back in time and eating with family; the family-run atmosphere is palpable, making everything authentic and welcoming. The lamb and fried artichokes were excellent. The very kind owners offered us limoncello and coffee. I will definitely be back!

Typical family atmosphere, a Roman eatery. Good, home-style cooking. I had fettuccine with black truffle (Tartufo nero). For dessert, apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious.

Four days trying different restaurants, this was undoubtedly the best. Run by the owner himself, the food is fresh and truly authentic (not a tourist trap). The service, the ingredients, the preparation, the prices—everything was perfect. I can't wait to go back!
