Great service and good atmosphere by the canal. But the food was really just ok. $25 for a plate of raw mushrooms seems a little ridiculous. Pasta was good and wine was great.

In many ways the profession of critic is easy: you risk very little while taking advantage of the great power we have over those who submit their work to judgment; we thrive on negative reviews that are fun to write, and read. But there are occasions in which a critic really risks something: for example in discovering and defending the new or, even more, in defending the new when it contaminates tradition. This is the case of the "White Rabbit", whose traditional Milanese cuisine (preserved in detail) also has the opportunity to be reinvented, in this splendid corner on the Navigli of Milan. The generational transition that the management of the venue faces reminds us how "a great artist can hide in each of us", and the young new management already demonstrates unparalleled talent.
Al Coniglio Bianco: a ritual pleasure for every Milanese, a must for any tourist who wants to discover traditional flavors and be pampered by a refined service.

I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Il Coniglio Bianco restaurant, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The atmosphere is welcoming and with attention to the smallest details, the staff was very kind and always attentive to our needs.
Special mention, however, goes to the schnitzel, which was simply extraordinary: crispy, well browned and with very tender meat. A dish that not only satisfies the palate, but which tells of the passion and attention to the quality of the ingredients.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a lunch of excellent cuisine and impeccable service. Congratulations to all the staff, we will definitely be back!

Certainly the prices are due to the location on the canals and near the vicolo dei lavandai, the cutlet is large and well made, but 33 euros for a cutlet with chips is really too much. If you go I recommend taking it for two. In the end, eating a cutlet and drinking wine (chosen the cheapest on the menu at 35 euros) costs 50 euros each.

L’atmosfera in questo ristorante è certamente gradevole tuttavia i piatti sono decisamente migliorabili: in particolare mi ha delusa il risotto giallo, insipido e non mantecato! Ho assaggiato anche il riso al salto, buono ma non eccezionale. Meglio i dolci. Buona la cantina. Prezzi in linea con l’offerta milanese sui navigli.
