Perhaps the most beautiful spot on the Navigli...in a characteristic corner...you can taste typical Milanese recipes...from the fantastic Monteghili...to the legendary Milanese risotto...to a fantastic cutlet (elephant ear!)...with impeccable service and a fairytale atmosphere....

Don't book online. What a nasty surprise! Caught in a storm and a downpour, we called the restaurant to cancel. The response was a penalty of €50 per person.
We went. We were soaked to the skin. You had nothing to do with it? Fine, but your business policy did, and a warm welcome would have been welcome, but nothing. Besides, smiles aren't the norm, which is a shame. We had a very good rabbit meal, a very tasty asparagus and cuttlefish risotto, a tiramisu, and a tarte tatin (good but far from the best). No appetizer, no wine, no starter. €83.50 for two. You might say it could be cheaper and not as good, that's true. But it's still more expensive compared to other restaurants of the same standard in the area.

A lovely restaurant at the entrance to the Navigli district, serving traditional Milanese cuisine. The wine selection is impressive, as is the attentive service.

A pleasant evening during a company dinner.
The location is characteristic, we're talking about Milan, we're talking about the Naviglio Grande, just a few meters from Vicolo Lavandai.
Entering the restaurant, you're transported back in time with the furnishings and the wooden slatted ceiling.
The menu features typical Milanese dishes along with a variety of other offerings. Everything is well-cooked and, no small thing, served in generous portions.
The service is courteous and attentive.
Excellent selection of bitters and gins.
If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.
The only drawback: the beer selection isn't particularly good... only bottled or 0% Heineken. Let's just say that from a restaurant like this, I would have appreciated a selection of craft beers, perhaps from Lombardy. Maybe someday, who knows?

In the canal area, without a doubt one of the best places. The atmosphere is much nicer than some "neon + music" restaurants, the food and staff are excellent, and there's very little waiting time.

It's delicious but expensive.
However, the reason I gave it 5 stars is because it's a traditional Milanese restaurant and considering the prices in Italy, it doesn't seem like a steal.
Two people ate fried veal, saffron risotto with veal, and a side salad, and it was a bit much. I think risotto without veal would be good too.
The staff were very friendly and it was nice to eat while looking out at the canal.
And the appetizer, fried zucchini flowers, was a delicacy, made with zucchini and anchovies. However, it was a bit disappointing that only one piece was served per person.
I recommend it to those who have a lot of money.

Abbiamo pagato 58€ a testa.
