We stumbled upon a lovely little Italian restaurant in Udine and had such a great experience. The pasta carbonara was absolutely delicious, and the spaghetti with black olives and ricotta was just as amazing—simple, fresh, and full of flavor. What really made our visit special, though, was the warm hospitality. The waitress was incredibly kind to our child, even bringing her some sweets, which completely made her day. She also took the time to give us helpful tips for our next destination, which we really appreciated. Great food, genuine kindness, and a cozy atmosphere—definitely a place we’d happily return to!

We discovered this place because it had an agreement with UPday meal vouchers. The gentleman was very kind in providing us with all the necessary information and reserving a table for us at 2:30 PM, even though the kitchen usually closes at that time. The food was truly delicious, with generous portions and fair prices! The only downside: the Google opening hours are wrong. We'd seen it close at 9 PM, but in fact it closes at 7:30 PM on weekdays and 4 PM on Fridays.

The ideal place for a quality lunch break. A family atmosphere, a constantly changing menu featuring seasonal ingredients, reasonable prices, and a friendly, smiling staff. Undoubtedly a little gem in this part of Udine.

Everything is good, the staff is very friendly and the beer is also very good. You can also get to the place on the Urban Udine public lines 2, 1, 81, 9, and the special student line E, including all suburban buses entering Udine from: Tolmezzo, Gemona, etc.

A warm, family-run restaurant, perfect for business lunches (there's also the option of a quick meal) but also for a relaxing meal... exceptional first courses, second courses, and side dishes, always fresh, so much so that the menu changes twice a week based on seasonal ingredients. Ester's desserts are truly special and heartwarming!

30/04/2026: There are places that stay in your heart not just for the food, but for how they make you feel. Here I found a rare welcome: the staff is highly trained, but with that natural kindness and friendliness that makes you instantly relax. The food was a real surprise. I tried a cuttlefish dish that, despite being Sicilian, I struggle to remember a better one. The place specializes in gluten-free, and even though I'm not a fan, I was amazed: the dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, and flavorful, so much so that you barely notice the difference. A special place where passion shines through in every detail. I'll definitely be back.
25/04/2026: After visiting Villa Manin, we stopped for lunch. The owners were very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it.
