Al Ceppo Folle In Milano

A clean and tidy place, the staff, that is, all the staff, are very kind and professional, the service is fast! Even though they are very sought after and the place is always full, they find a way to have a seat for you! Compliments! And the pizza by the slice is thick, soft, light, and above all delicious!!! In addition to the pizza, their dishes are also good. They have both draft and bottled beer, and I think the large San Miguel beer is a great idea, just right for sharing with family and friends, and the prices are fair... Compliments

I give it three stars because the pizza is always delicious, nothing to complain about, but the options aren't right. Every time the size of the double pizza changes, which seems like a generous serving...

I speak as a fan and regular consumer of pizza by the slice. I tour all the Pizzerias by the Slice in Milan every week out of passion. At Ceppo Folle, I found: • Good pizza (although not very well-leavened, it wasn't thick and fluffy, but a bit too crusty) • "Strange" portions - One pan makes 8 slices (whereas you usually get 6), so the large size is a slice and a half, and the double size is two slices (which are the same size as other competitors' "large" portions). • Desserts - The tiramisu I ordered was a lab-made one, not homemade, and €5 is too much for a low-quality product like this. • Prices (dessert aside) are very good; I don't understand the 50 cent cover charge, which consists only of a paper placemat and forks. Overall, it's above 80% of Milan's pizzerias, but it doesn't stand out as a top 10. Would I go back? Yes, if I'm in the area again and can't find a better place, I'll obviously opt for Ceppo Folleto, because it's worth it. I wouldn't "deliberately" go there and go further afield. Recommended? YES, obviously it should be tried and judged, but 90% of people don't even know what a real leavened, digestible, and non-fried pizza means.

It's a great place for a lunch break. Excellent vegetable appetizers and a delicious slice of deep-dish pizza.

You either like the crazy strain or it drives you crazy because it's always packed. I like it, but I always get takeout.
