My review refers to the restaurant, I didn't stay overnight so I'll limit myself to talking only about the restaurant. Il Castagneto is an excellent restaurant in the full and uncontaminated greenery of Calabria, if you are looking for peace and tranquility to eat; then this turns out to be an excellent choice. The staff is uniquely kind, they welcome us as if we were friends, helpful and kind, especially the girl with curly hair. The food is of an excellent standard, authentic and genuine flavours, it feels like eating at your grandmother's and as we know, no cuisine is better than your grandmother's. The internal room is really nice, unfortunately only now (having been gone for a couple of hours) I realize that I forgot to take photos. The service was very fast and well organised. Practically everything perfect, a guarantee. Outside around the restaurant there is a beautiful chestnut forest, a swing and other games for the little ones 😊 I attach some photos of my visit.

Beautiful location with panoramic views of the neighboring villages, at Castagneto you can breathe an air of familiarity. The food and the pizza are excellent! I will definitely go back

Stunning location surrounded by greenery and surrounded by majestic centuries-old trees. In this restaurant you eat very well and the owner is kind and friendly as is the staff. Abundant and satisfying Easter Monday lunch, ample parking.
