At Castagneto, everything is almost magnificent, from the breathtaking view to the meticulously prepared food. The appetizer, featuring traditional products, is a triumph of flavors: cured meats, peppers, various pickles... all excellent quality, perfectly balanced, and tastefully presented. We were hesitant to decide on the first courses (a difficult choice, given the selection), but in the end we opted for the spaghetti with crumbled sausage, yellow date tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes, and the ravioli with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and speck. Both were fabulous, rich in flavor, and well-balanced. A special mention also goes to the spicy oil, which "kicks" just the right amount: a real treat for lovers of the genre. Attentive and courteous service, a relaxed and genuine atmosphere. An experience that exudes authenticity and care for the local area. Highly recommended! 🌿🍷

Excellent restaurant with local products, helpful and professional owners, compliments, a separate mention for the rooms, ask for those with an en suite bathroom.......otherwise!

We dined at this historic restaurant with friends and family. Plenty of space for large tables and special occasions. Honest, traditional cuisine, well-prepared. Generous portions. Reasonable prices. Out-of-town location, surrounded by chestnut woods. Good, helpful service.

For 3 people we had 3 house appetizers, a portion of chips, 1 dish with fresh pasta and porcini mushrooms, 1 dish of fresh pasta with anduja sauce, half a liter of house wine with 2 small sodas and 1 liter of mineral water, 2 tiramisu and a truffle ice cream 83 euros and 70 quite a high price

Excellent food. "Grandma's" recipes...a true return to traditional dishes.

lunch at the Al Castagneto restaurant for Easter Monday was a truly excellent culinary experience. The house appetizer was plentiful and carefully prepared: excellent quality cured meats, tasty cheeses, a soft and tasty omelette, well-seasoned olives and pickles. Each element on the plate was fresh and well-matched, with authentic and typical flavors of the Calabrian tradition. The service was friendly and the environment welcoming. A perfect start to a rich and satisfying menu. Absolutely recommended for those who want to experience true Italian cuisine with taste and authenticity.
