Both the food and service were excellent, and I highly recommend them for couples and groups. Excellent value for money, and I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Yesterday, November 8, 2025, we visited the Al Castagneto restaurant in Santa Caterina Albanese, and the experience was truly excellent. The service is impeccable, the quality of the products is evident from the first to the last dish, and the helpfulness and kindness of the entire staff are truly rare. The dining room staff is competent, friendly, and always attentive to the guests' needs. The owner and his wife are extremely kind, compassionate, and always ready to help. We were a group of 50 people, and due to the rain, the bus couldn't reach the restaurant directly. The owner immediately offered to provide his car to drive us up, an unforgettable gesture that demonstrates the care they put into their work. Recommended for anyone who wants to spend a pleasant day, enjoy excellent food, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere surrounded by the woods, with a view that makes everything even more special. At Castagneto, everything is almost magnificent, from the breathtaking view to the meticulously prepared food. The appetizer, featuring traditional products, is a triumph of flavors: cured meats, peppers, various pickles... all excellent quality, perfectly balanced, and tastefully presented. We were hesitant to decide on the first courses (a difficult choice, given the selection), but in the end we opted for the spaghetti with crumbled sausage, yellow date tomatoes, and cherry tomatoes, and the ravioli with mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, and speck. Both were fabulous, rich in flavor, and well-balanced. A special mention also goes to the spicy oil, which "kicks" just the right amount: a real treat for lovers of the genre. Attentive and courteous service, a relaxed and genuine atmosphere. An experience that exudes authenticity and care for the local area. Highly recommended! 🌿🍷
