We dined at this historic restaurant with friends and family. Plenty of space for large tables and special occasions. Honest, traditional cuisine, well-prepared. Generous portions. Reasonable prices. Out-of-town location, surrounded by chestnut woods. Good, helpful service.

For 3 people we had 3 house appetizers, a portion of chips, 1 dish with fresh pasta and porcini mushrooms, 1 dish of fresh pasta with anduja sauce, half a liter of house wine with 2 small sodas and 1 liter of mineral water, 2 tiramisu and a truffle ice cream 83 euros and 70 quite a high price

lunch at the Al Castagneto restaurant for Easter Monday was a truly excellent culinary experience. The house appetizer was plentiful and carefully prepared: excellent quality cured meats, tasty cheeses, a soft and tasty omelette, well-seasoned olives and pickles. Each element on the plate was fresh and well-matched, with authentic and typical flavors of the Calabrian tradition. The service was friendly and the environment welcoming. A perfect start to a rich and satisfying menu. Absolutely recommended for those who want to experience true Italian cuisine with taste and authenticity.

An Unforgettable Experience at the Al Castagneto Pizzeria Restaurant! Last night we had the pleasure of ending the evening with our dear friends, Alessio and Graziella, at the Al Castagneto Pizzeria Di Lavalle Alessio Restaurant. As always, a real guarantee! The novelty that positively surprised us was Davide, the pizza chef, a person we did not know but who turned out to be a fantastic discovery. Aside from his obvious friendliness, I had the pleasure of tasting a truly spectacular pizza. Being a pizza lover and not one to be satisfied easily, I must admit that it was one of the few pizzas this good I have eaten in the area! A round of applause goes to Alessio and Graziella who, in addition to having been in the field of typical local catering for 50 years, demonstrate a continuous desire to evolve, introducing new things and always surrounding themselves with the right people. Our experience can be summed up in a resounding 10 and praise! We will definitely be back.
