Al Carel In Anfo

Authentic Italian restaurant with very attentive service. The food is delicious, and the coffee is excellent. I would definitely eat here again. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant doesn't have many tables.

Typically Italian. Not a greasy spoon. Real food, just like my Nonna used to make it. It was my husband's birthday. They knew that. The lights went out and then they started singing with a little cake and a candle in their hand. What darlings of people at Al Carel. We will definitely be back. Ciao

Popped in here for some pizza while staying in Anfo. Host's were fantastic. Menu has italian and english so there was no guess work as to what we were ordering. Food came quickly and was brilliant! Would fully recommend!!

A small, excellent tavern. The food was superb. A wide selection of fish, pizza, and desserts. Attentive service – just as you'd hope. Even though it's right on the main road, it's a lovely, authentic, cozy, and truly special place. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

The atmosphere is charming, rustic, and full of beautiful frescoes with expressive subjects and delicate colors. The cuisine features carefully selected ingredients, especially the freshest ones. Everything is delicious, from the starters to the main courses and desserts. The pizza is excellent. Definitely the best place in the entire area.

The pizza ingredients are high-quality and very tasty. The dough is cooked perfectly, without a trace of burning.

The successors to the old Al Carel are truly commendable; the food was perfect and highly recommended. For me, it's one of the best restaurants with the friendliest team on Lake Idro. However, the exterior could use some updating; it's showing its age and doesn't reflect the quality of the interior.
