Excellent, home-cooked food, very nice place. Very affordable business lunch. Recommended.

Welcoming place, excellent food thanks to chef Paolo! I gladly bring friends when I go because I know they won't be disappointed.

As guests of the B&B, we used the restaurant. The food was good, and the chef, who prepared breakfast for us the following morning, was very kind. The dinner was excellent.

I'd give it 6 stars if it were possible! My wife and I were there this week, in the area to watch a stage of the Vuelta, and we made two pleasant discoveries: first, the village of Chiomonte, with all its ancient buildings and seven fountains; second, the Al Cantoun restaurant. At Paolo's, we enjoyed dishes that showcase passion, hard work, and quality, in a family-run atmosphere, managed by Paolo, his parents, and a kind and friendly waitress. If I ever decide to return to Chiomonte, it will be for dinner at Cantoun!

Had lunch today with my family, everything was excellent! Special consideration for me, as I'm severely lactose intolerant, so I was able to eat my appetizer, first course, and second course without any problems! Simply fantastic, thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

The only saving grace in the town of Chiomonte. Clean restaurant, impeccable service, polite and helpful staff. I'd like to take this opportunity to compliment the chef. I tried 4 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 second course, plus a side dish, water, wine, dessert, and coffee ☕️ for a modest €32. It was all delicious. I was amazed by the delicate and distinct flavors. It's a shame I only discovered it on the last day of my stay in Chiomonte. If I ever return to this area, I'll definitely eat at Al Cantoun again. Posto delizioso! Menù a prezzo fisso eccezionale con l'aggiunta della torta di mele tiepida accompagnata da uno zabaione paragonabile a quello che faceva mia mamma! Complimenti domani torniamo!
