A lovely place in the heart of Marino's historic center. It's always a pleasure to return to eat here. We hadn't been there in years, and we returned on Saturday with a couple of friends who are regulars. The pizza is truly excellent, classic Roman pizza, thin and crispy. The quality of the ingredients is good. The homemade suppli are also excellent. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, as is the rest of the family-run atmosphere, making you feel truly at home. The first courses are also excellent. Good value for money, and the desserts are also really good. We opted for the tiramisu and the pear and chocolate cake, which were truly delicious. Highly recommended.

The place is very nice, the staff is friendly. I ordered pizza with others, but after a long wait and a prompt reply, I was informed they were out of an ingredient. We agreed on a change. Given the mix-up, they offered me the pizza for free. I thank the owner for this, but I think they have a problem with the oven. The pizza was well-cooked on the edges but undercooked in the center, which is a shame because the toppings were good. I really enjoyed the tiramisu dessert.

After a few days spent on vacation in Castelgandolfo, on our last day, this small restaurant struck us from the outside, and we went in for dinner. There are no uniforms or liveries, no lace or embroidery to welcome you; everything is simple yet down-to-earth, just as the food was simple yet down-to-earth in its flavors. In short, it was the place where we ate best and spent the least during our stay. Congratulations.

It's a very nice spot and a family business, one can taste the love in the handmade dishes. Since I am on a bycicle tour through italy now, we spoke also about cycling with the owner and I recieved a few good recommendations where to go. If you also want to know go and eat at Al Cantuccio, it's worth it!

We went for lunch yesterday. The location was welcoming, the staff friendly, and the food delicious. Yesterday, among the entrees, we had a truffle and mushroom lasagna—"special" is an understatement—and the fried lamb chops were equally delicious. The desserts were amazing. Highly recommended.

The service staff are great. You feel like you're part of the family. Delicious food. We had tripe and beans with pork rind. The first course was fettuccine with cherry tomatoes, chanterelles, and pecorino cheese. The second course was grilled sausage with chicory. The tiramisu was also excellent. We'll be back.
