17/05/2025: Osteria Angelino dal 1899 was the very first restaurant we visited after landing in Rome—and it set the bar incredibly high. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Everyone was warm, and friendly. We shared a bottle of wine, ordered the meatball appetizer, carbonara, cacio e pepe, and tiramisu for dessert. Every dish was absolutely delicious—authentic, perfectly cooked, and full of rich flavor. As a lovely surprise, the staff even brought out a complimentary appetizer for us to try, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture. The atmosphere felt both relaxed and full of character—exactly what you'd hope for on your first day in Rome. This place made us feel right at home in a new city. A true 10/10 experience, and a meal we’ll remember for a long time.
