We sat down at this little place on Halloween night...
Despite the chaos, we were served by kind, smiling staff... absolutely professional.
The food was simply exquisite.
Peppered mussels with a delicious sauce... obviously, we mopped up the sauce with bread 🤣
Good fried food, not at all greasy.
Excellent grilled skewers.
Congratulations.

Halloween dinner, unplanned and without reservation, they still welcomed us even though we were outside (but the waiter clearly told us that they were full inside). The restaurant is in an excellent location, also decorated for the event. The waiters were polite and efficient. The food was very good, especially the mussel sauce, which I had never tasted like it. When I'm back in the area, I'll visit you again.

They seated us near the canal with a view of Trepponti, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and picturesque corners of Comacchio. The menu is typical of Comacchio, and my wife and I opted for a mixed marinated appetizer, followed by excellent grilled eel and a superb eel risotto (even our dachshund loved the canal view). We had a wonderful day, a great experience, and a place I definitely recommend.

I'd promised myself on several occasions that I'd have lunch at this place sometime, and finally, some time ago, the right opportunity presented itself. Once we arrived (reservation required 📞), we sat down and first ordered a liter of sparkling water 💧. Looking at the menu 📋, which is certainly varied and full of interesting options, I couldn't help but look for the eel dishes (eventually opting for the grilled one), the place's true specialty. The flavor is bold yet delicate, cooked perfectly. We also ordered fried vegetables (dry and well-cooked) and a bean soup 🍵 with shrimp 🍤 and rosemary (excellent). The wait times ⏱ were normal (considering that the place was almost full since it was the first Sunday of Carnival 🎭). The staff was courteous and professional. Prices are medium-high; I certainly didn't expect the eel dishes to be cheap, but we still spent 43 euros 💶 for a first course, a second course with a side dish, and a liter of water 💧. For this reason, I don't feel like giving it the maximum score in this review 📝 (although from a purely gastronomic point of view, this experience was completely satisfying). If you're willing to spend a little more than "usual" to enjoy refined, quality dishes, this is definitely the place to go. RECOMMENDED 👍.

A very positive experience, having lunch inside in mid-October. Nice place with a certain atmosphere, it doesn't feel like a fake place catering to tourists with a sweet tooth. The staff is kind and discreet, just the way I like it. The price was in line with expectations. It will be a pleasure to return.

She definitely works a lot with tourists and certainly also with locals, given that some people were only treated like regulars...
They still have to ask us if everything was okay, from the dining room manager to the (I presume) owner, who never asked us anything despite passing by us more than once.
The owner was going crazy with a waitress in front of us, who was mumbling at her, all clearly angry at each other.
The same waitress never smiled and seemed unsuited to being in the dining room.
Even the other inexperienced and unprofessional dining room staff were wandering around the tables.
Even the only unprofessional gentleman in the dining room was reprimanding the others in front of him; he was the first to absolutely not know his stuff.
The only decent person in the dining room was the blonde girl in the vest.
The price was above average for the service provided.
The food was good, some dishes were really lackluster, but overall it was good, the service much less so.
PS: Give the dining room a fresh coat of paint, it needs it.
I only recommend this place to those who know them personally.
If you're a tourist passing through (like we were), they won't even consider you.

A typical restaurant with a wooden ceiling and a warm atmosphere.
We had an appetizer of burrata, anchovies, and toasted bread, beautifully presented but rather simple.
Then came the raw fish platter with scampi, oysters, tuna, and prawns: fresh and plentiful, but without any particular flair in the seasoning.
The desserts were good.
Friendly service, a refined and welcoming atmosphere.
It was good, but nothing surprised me.
