The first time I came by chance and since then every time I come to Bassano, from Milan, it is a fixed stop. Don't be intimidated by Amedeo's apparently somewhat gruff air, who isn't gruff: in reality he is a precise person in his management, welcoming, helpful, respectful of the customer and this is demonstrated by the fact that those who book, when they arrive, find the table ready and once at the table they are very attentive, patient and advise you. all the dishes on the menu are excellent. Fantastic roasts. Genuine cuisine, welcoming environment, fast service and friendly waiters. I recommend punctuality as a matter of respect and to allow the owner to correctly manage the tables.

For me it is a place of the heart, and at least I try to eat here (I recommend making a reservation, it is always very full!!) I do it every time I pass through Bassano.
The food is very good, the place in the historic center is rustic, but above all it is the atmosphere that is difficult to find elsewhere!

Mi lugar favorito. Clientes que son amigos. Nietos tambaleándose. Y muy buena comida a buen precio. Y cualquier grappa que vierten cuando pides un café y grappa al final - estaba delicioso. Llevan más de 30 años bebiendo grappa, su casa servida era la mejor.
