If you want to try Frico, this is the place to go. A charming, traditional restaurant. Very friendly service. Excellent food and drinks. We were delighted.

Celebrated my birthday last week with my husband and friends... Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food from start to finish: delicious San Daniele ham and local cheese platter, excellent salami with vinegar and onion, and the frico a palla was absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommended!!!!! We'll be back!!!

Great service, the soup and grilled ham were both good. We tried frico with potatoes for the first time, and it tasted exactly as you might think cheese and potatoes would taste. Was too dense and greasy for us. Limited items on the menu, good all in all

In the heart of Cividale, right in the center, we found this place that won us over. The Frico and cured meats were truly inviting: fresh, tastefully presented, and with an authentic flavor reminiscent of local traditions. Each bite was a pleasant discovery, made even better by the welcoming atmosphere. And last but not least: the prices are fair, making the experience truly complete and satisfying. We recommend this stop to anyone who wants to experience Cividale with all their senses.

A quaint restaurant in the shadow of the bell tower, in the center of Cividale del Friuli, just steps from the Devil's Bridge. Simple, delicious dishes. We tried the frico con la cupola, which I highly recommend; the grilled ham, however, was a bit too salty. Parking is easy to find.

The restaurant is located in the center and was busy even in September. People come here primarily to enjoy a well-known local specialty: Frico, a deep-fried flatbread made with local mountain cheese (Montasio) and potatoes. A slice of it is more than filling, and as cheese lovers, we particularly enjoyed it. Add a good glass of Schioppettino and all is right with the world. Our seat was in the shady outdoor area directly beneath the Campanile. There was a somewhat long wait for our order. Service was okay, and so were the prices.

Cameriere gentile e simpatico. Frico super!! Salame con cipolla top!!! Affettati deliziosi,super salame e prosciutto crudo, idem formaggi! E prosciutto cotto alla piastra e cren esplosivo!! Top lasagna zucchine e gorgonzola.
Per finire gubana, semifreddo al torroncino e tartufo deliziosi!!! Caffè per finire ottimo!!!
