We ate wonderfully: the duck gnocchi were amazing, the lamb was amazing, and the desserts were traditional, just like my grandmother's (she's from Bologna, by the way; I hope no one from Reggio Emilia will be offended). Excellent service; the girls and one of the owners literally pampered us, right down to the cognac. Thank you, I enjoyed it. :) Good value for money.

We decided one Saturday evening (after calling to see if a table was available, of course) to have dinner at this quaint, historic trattoria, where good food is guaranteed! Needless to say, traditional food is only available in these mountain locations, where they preserve their local, home-cooked flavors. Highly recommended!

Set menu for Easter lunch.
Their appetizer is always a sure thing, full of deliciousness and quality (the cod is truly a treat).
A trio of tortelli and rosettes reminiscent of grandma's.
Not to mention the tagliatelle, zuppa inglese, and mascarpone cake, which had the consistency of clouds.
One of my absolute favorite places. Always.

We had an amazing experience at Trattoria De Cacciatore.
We were served by an incredibly friendly lady who spoke very fluent English, which made us feel immediately welcome and comfortable as Belgian tourists. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind.
The food was excellent we especially loved the local specialties. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The portions were very generous, and the price–quality ratio is easily 11/10. The wine she recommended was also delicious and paired perfectly with our meal.
The restaurant was spotless, and it was lovely to see so many locals dining there always a great sign!
An absolute must-visit. We’re big fans and would happily come back anytime.

The Trattoria. Like it used to be, the aromas inside this place are out of this world. The tagliatelle, in my opinion, are out of this world. I'll definitely order them next time.
But be careful with the bill. The prices on the receipt don't match the menu.

We went there to eat polenta and game from the appetizer fried polenta with bacon prini tagliatelle with venison passatelli with truffle shavings second course polenta with wild boar venison stew accompanied with a good red wine dessert tagliatelle cake cake with pears large portions all strictly homemade a real delight excellent quality price friendly staff always available we will definitely return highly recommended
