Al Buon Arrivo In Tarvisio

The food is good but I would avoid the calamarata with Gragnano pasta because it is not that good. I saw a lot of cream which does not suit the dish. Disappointed by expectations while I found the fried calamari excellent.

A restaurant with a good location and a beautiful view of the mountains. The dishes we ordered were good, but the service (although friendly) and wait times could be improved: there was a sense of confusion in the dining room management and the very long waiting times for the dishes. I was disappointed that the waitress was unable to explain the dish when asked for clarification.

Friendly and discreet staff, slightly generous portions, well-presented and well-cooked dishes.

Good food but slow service. Some guests left the restaurant because they had been waiting for the waiter too long.

The restaurant is a good place for a stopover.

You won't find pizza here, but the other dishes are definitely great. We had lasagnette with spinach and cheese sauce and pasta with meat. It seems like they brought a little, but there was enough to fill you up nicely. The prices are higher, but the food is worth it. The lady who served was very pleasant. She spoke Italian, German, English and Slovenian.

Yesterday, for my birthday, we took a day trip to Tarvisio and ate here for the first time, and it was really good. My husband had the grilled calamari, and I had delicious pasta with tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, peperoncini, and taralli, along with a well-chosen bowl of mixed salad. After paying and tipping, which we really gladly and appropriately gave, we were treated to coffee and liqueur – thank you again for that 🥰. Yes, the service might seem a bit reserved at first, BUT – we tourists, who mostly come to Tarvisio just for a quick shopping trip or a short stopover, should remember that it's not easy for the locals to earn their living either, and we expect the red carpet to be rolled out for us?! In any case, we highly commend the food AND the service! We love the town, the beautiful landscape, and the honest, authentic people, and we'll gladly come back here for dinner on our next visit ☺️

Zeer goed restaurant. Het was wel heel druk met weinig bediening. Zeer goede verse voorgerechten en hoofdgerechten. Zowel de spaghetti carbonara als pasta met hert was zeer aan te raden. De wijnen paste uitstekend bij de gerechten. Een aanrader voor een goede avond uit eten.
