The atmosphere was very pleasant, especially the front room. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, and we really liked the owner who came to take our order, even listing the off-menu items. The appetizer was very interesting, placing a lot of emphasis on vegetables. I find this a very intelligent choice, given that too often an excessively high-carb and high-fat starter ruins the following courses. However, we were very clear about wanting to focus on the first and second courses. The Amatriciana was exceptional, but the off-menu fettuccine with artichokes and guanciale was also excellent. The oxtail stew was perfectly cooked, with the tomatoes cooked just the right amount of time, and the flavorful meat fell apart just as it should. The other second course, the masterfully cooked lamb chops, remained juicy and flavorful, an undeniable quality. The side dishes were also traditional: puntarelle and Roman-style artichokes, the latter with such a subtle and perfect hint of lemon that I was amazed. After all, with such simple dishes, quality and the smallest details are crucial. Everything was perfect and we will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.

Great experience. I was here today and have nothing to complain about. The food was excellent, all thanks to Chef Tommaso. We ate authentic Neapolitan desserts: pastiera and struffoli, all homemade by Chef Tommaso. The service was also excellent, thanks to waiters Armando and Erisa. The hospitality from owners Alessandro and Sabrina was truly the icing on the cake. I highly recommend this place.

You can't miss this typical restaurant in Grottaferrata at least once. Despite having expanded from the original restaurant (hence the name), it has maintained the characteristic and quality of its locally sourced food over time.
Alessandro, his sister, and all the other staff at this restaurant are professional and friendly.
Their mixed antipasto is highly recommended. You'll have the opportunity to taste various dishes, including, but not limited to, tripe, beans with pork rind, prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, fresh ricotta with truffle, and more. If you don't like some of the appetizers, no problem; they'll bring you something else based on availability.
Fabulous first courses, homemade pasta with a variety of sauces.
Various meat-based second courses, grilled and otherwise.
A selection of reasonably priced wines.
Desserts, always locally sourced or homemade, are excellent.
We'll definitely return.
