I recently had lunch at Taverna del Borgo and the experience was overall very pleasant 😊. The place is characteristic, with attention to detail, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is kind and helpful, without ever being intrusive. We ate really well: the dishes were full of flavor, well presented and with creative but balanced combinations 🍷🍝. The tagliata was particularly good: tender, tasty meat, perfectly seasoned and accompanied by harmonious side dishes, but no one asked me how I wanted it cooked and I was not provided with a knife suitable for the meat 🔪. These are details that do not compromise the goodness of the dish, but that would improve the overall experience. The fritters, which we had chosen as an appetizer, were the only real flaw of the lunch: they were slightly rubbery, with a consistency that suggested that they were not exactly prepared expressly, as if they had been fried some time before and then simply reheated. A real shame, because the basic flavor was still good and with a little more freshness they would have been delicious. Despite these small aspects to review, the overall quality of the cuisine is high, and what is positively surprising is the quality-price ratio, truly exceptional for its honesty 💸. You can feel the desire to offer a sincere, tasty and accessible cuisine, and this certainly deserves applause.

We went to eat at this place, because we were passing through. I'll just say that we found "excellence" in everything, from the service to the dishes. My wife was also amazed by the order and cleanliness as well as the environment. What else to add, highly recommended. I also point out that the prices are really competitive. Well done.👍

ormai una tappa fissa nelle mie visite a Verona per il Vinitaly; dormendo fuori la città, mi risulta sempre pratico per passare una serata tranquilla, senza clienti e rilassandosi. Già gli Interni traspirano aria di casa, e questo aiuta per defaticare… La cucina è schietta, è fatta di buone materie prime, il tutto proposto a un prezzo molto competitivo.
