Small place with rather rustic wooden furniture which gives a nice feeling of warmth. The managers are welcoming and good at putting you at ease. Good choice of wines. Some criticism of the cuisine. In the bruschetta trio, the choice of cheese combined with honey is risky in my opinion. The flavor is too strong and covers everything. We then had the sausage with wine: good but nothing special, while we liked the sweet ricotta and lemon. Fair price

Small, intimate and welcoming place, housed in a historic house in the town centre, a stone's throw from the pier (possibility of parking a short distance away). We were here on a Sunday for lunch: excellent wines, menu with a selection of chosen dishes, mainly meat-based, simple but really well cooked. Attentive and friendly staff. Advised! :)

Environment: once upon a time…
Very characteristic place, with wooden ceiling and stone walls. Very welcoming climate, it almost feels like being in your grandparents' house; those places that have preserved the patina of time, without however appearing shabby. It's always fascinating to see the walls full of bottles of wine, you immediately understand where you've entered.
Food: quality
It's not the first time I've stopped in this corner, both for an aperitif and for a dinner. The raw materials are good and refined, for example the cheeses in the photo were not obvious. Same story for the wines, big name wineries for a considerable quality.
Service: friendly
Nothing to report
Price: you pay for quality, sometimes too much
Given the above, prices would be correct if they increased quantity. Unfortunately, €10 for the cheese plate with grappa gel is a bit excessive, then served with a disproportionate quantity of bread, in comparison. Same for some wines by the glass, €8 per glass for a Nebbiolo from Boca, too much in my opinion.

I recommend booking especially on Sunday but it's unlikely they won't welcome you. Wide choice of wines, including fine ones. Typical Piedmontese dishes. Sliced wines and cheeses at or near zero km. All very good. Very knowledgeable about wines. Events. Very small place with very few seats but unique in its kind, very warm and welcoming. Honest account.

Excellent service.
Overall pleasant food. I loved Bagna Cauda.
Beautiful environment
It is not a “tourist-friendly” place.
Excellent wine list. Fair price for the tourist region.
