Da Baffo is one of those places that seems to have stuck in the '90s. And I'm not saying this as a gratuitous criticism: I'm saying it as a matter of fact. The space is spacious, with plenty of seating, designed to accommodate families, groups, and large tables. There's no particular stylistic effort, but everything is functional. You come in, you sit down, you eat. Period. We ordered two pizzas, including one with tuna and onion. The pizza is good, cooked just right, with no obvious imperfections. The dough does its job, and it arrives at the table as expected: without surprising, but without disappointing. It's a pizza you'll enjoy, especially if you're looking for something simple and comforting. On the tuna and onion, a personal note: the onions were sweet and sour. That's not a mistake, it's a choice. However, this is where subjective taste comes in, and I would have preferred more neutral, more direct onions. But again: a matter of preference, not quality. Overall, nothing exceptional, but nothing wrong either. It's a place that knows its place: it doesn't promise strong emotions, and in fact, it doesn't sell them. It offers honest pizza, in a simple setting, with plenty of space and service that gets straight to the point. The table service lived up to expectations, with very kind and courteous staff. This restaurant is a must-try for good food in Palmanova. Finally, a pleasant surprise was the price, which, considering the high quality of the meat, was absolutely excellent. Truly well done!
