Da Baffo is a sure thing in Palmanova if you want to eat well, in a comfortable environment and with friendly and prompt service. From pizza, to appetizers, to desserts, the portions are well-prepared and abundant. We brought a Croatian friend of ours to taste the local specialties and we were promptly satisfied. Excellent prices for the quality of the cuisine. Absolutely recommended 👍

Ristorante di fronte al nostro hotel a Palmanova; su consiglio del personale dell'albergo abbiamo prenotato e devo dire che abbiamo mangiato molto bene spendendo il giusto. Locale grazioso, servizio rapido e gentile. Consigliato

18/07/2025: One of the best osterias in Udine, offering traditional dishes at excellent prices. A welcoming place, the food is consistently good. It's the perfect choice for both a lunch break with a hearty plate of pasta and a dinner with some Friulian dishes (the frico is highly recommended). The crostini, meatballs, and all the side dishes are also delicious. The entire staff is extremely friendly, and every time you return to Il Marinaio, you feel a little at home. Please, never change!

31/05/2025: A small historic tavern in Chiavris, with the characteristics I love: the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff very kind. Top canapés, I recommend the one with porchetta and caramelized onion. For those who want to keep it lighter, the focaccia with cherry tomatoes and stracciatella is excellent, for those with trucker tastes like me 🤪 the sandwich with gorgonzola, walnut sauce and a lot of other things that I don't remember but if I think about it now it makes me really hungry! In short, a place to come back and come back 💛
29/04/2025: I ordered the sandwiches on the phone and 15 minutes later they were ready for collection, very fresh and high quality ingredients not to mention the very nice owners who know how to make you smile even after a bad day! Artisan sandwiches with freshly cut cold cuts, highly recommended, next time try the beers or aperitifs too :D
