Located in one of the most suggestive areas of Milan, Osteria della Darsena offers a pleasant experience in the name of tradition. The menu offers typical Milanese dishes, although not particularly surprising. The aubergine parmigiana was good, tasty and well-balanced, while the veal with tuna sauce did not live up to expectations, resulting a bit anonymous in flavor.
The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, with a warm atmosphere that fits well with the context of the Navigli. The staff stands out for their courtesy and availability.

It is a very decent and high-quality place. We ordered 1 saffron risotto, a linguine, 1 water and a glass of red wine. We paid 49 euros in total, including the 5 euro seating fee for 2 people. Saying that something is not good is different from saying that it does not suit your taste. That's why the environment and the service were extremely good. The quality of the food was high. The linguine was not very enjoyable for us, but as we said, it is all about taste, otherwise the food was quite successful.

We ate Milanese tripa (trippa alla milanese), polpo croccante (crispy octopus) and tiramisu. We liked them all very much. The rose wine named 'Vita' was also very light and delicious. Our waiter was very polite and attentive.

We booked this restaurant for our anniversary dinner. I thought it would be excellent restaurant (according to the reviews). But I was quite disappointed, the food was good, but the service was cold and unfriendly. Overall we enjoyed, but we just expected more from this, considering we paid more than 100€ for this experience…
