Had a great meal and it's not the first time. Fish-based menu, all excellent. A delicious marinara risotto, tasty and delicate at the same time. Excellent fried fish, light and not greasy. An appetizer to open a lunch full of many well-cooked dishes. The desserts are also good. The owner Angelo is very nice and Tania in the room is attentive, good and friendly. Once again a positive experience and then the added value: historic venue that opens onto Piazza Dante in the center. Among other things, slow food presidium. Highly recommended.

At 53 at Angelo's it's like eating at home. You eat well and you are welcomed better. Years ago my grandmother had a typical Neapolitan trattoria and every time I return to 53 I remember the good flavors of the past. Well done Angelo and congratulations to your staff. All exceptional. Keep it up.

We were in the area and given the good reviews of this restaurant we chose it.
The expectations were a little higher than the final result.
We took two dishes, a pasta with Neapolitan ragù and meatballs with ragù but we didn't like them that much in terms of the sauce of the ragù (it was nothing special).
Too bad, we hope for an improvement.

On the advice of a Neapolitan, my friend and I dined in this historic restaurant with typical Neapolitan dishes.
The morsels of buffalo mozzarella produced by their dairy are spacious.
The other dishes, plentiful and tasty, also met our expectations.

2 adults, 2 kids.
We ordered a cheese pasta with potatoes, 2x calamari, ragu pasta, 1 insalata caprese, anchovy pasta (there's no seafood- sauce + pasta). Bill was €90.
The food could have been better, I can forgive the lack of presentation. Everything was overly salted. We were fooled by the reviews. I believe there is better food that is better priced than this.

Ambiente fantastico, servizio eccellente, cucina strepitosa: i piatti della vera tradizione e le vere eccellenze del territorio campano, 10 e lode! Consiglio le linguine (o spaghetti) alla Vesuvio e la Genovese. Per uno "zuccullillo" come me (😉) l'atmosfera era perfetta! Ideale per cene tra amici!
