We ordered a pasta dish that was delicious and the Octopus... then some meatballs that the sauce was very strong... and a salad that wasn't very well dressed... but overall it was very good.

I ate there two weeks ago on Friday for lunch
I tried both fish dishes including a very good grill and meat dishes (sausages)
You eat very well and mainly you breathe the air not of a tourist but of a restaurant of other times that has managed to update itself while maintaining its historic characteristics.
I used to go there with my father many years ago then and today the food is very good.
The owner, son of a dynasty of restaurateurs, is very nice and helpful.
I recommend it to those who want to rediscover the true flavors of Neapolitan cuisine

Our first dinner in Naples was fantastic, as we dined at this highly touted restaurant. The genovese slow cooked beef and octopus were amazing! Highly recommend this place to anyone who visits Naples.

Got the Spaghetti Vongole, tomatoes and mozzarella and grilled vegetable. It was all delicious, service is great would recommend. Had to pay cash.

Had a broken shell in the risotto which nearly fully bit into and could have broke the teeth 😢
But really yums and great taste. Soft and tender cooked seafood, loads of umami and seasoned salty to my liking.
Also comes with bread but could be better with also dash of butter to the side.
Only downside was that and more precaution and gentle in handling next time. Great service and friendly staff. Could be colder insude next time as well too 😊
Nella storica piazza Dante, complice il sole e l’azzurro del cielo, abbiamo pranzato divinamente. La qualità delle materie prime, il gusto dei piatti e la simpatia di Angelo (il proprietario) hanno reso tutto piacevolissimo. Consigliatissimo!!!
Siamo stati al 53 tre giorni fa , antipasti caldi e freddi molto buoni , spaghetti con le cozze e frutti di mare mai mangiato così buoni . Ma a condire gli ottimi piatti la cortesia del proprietario che segue ogni cosa con cura e la professionalità la gentilezza e ka simpatia del personale di sala . Lo consiglio felicemente.
