A nice restaurant with various tapas options and an aperitivo menu. Honestly, it's not the best Spanish in Milan, and some dishes are quite basic despite the prices being quite reasonable. The atmosphere is friendly and the venue is well-kept, but the food isn't great. I wouldn't recommend it.

I've been going to Ajo Blanco for about 25 years, since I was a little girl.
Excellent tapas, authentic flavors, and a warm, informal atmosphere. A simple yet quality Spanish tavern, with great vibes and an energy that has never aged.

We had a great time, the tapas were very good, BUT... the hospitality of the owner and staff really left much to be desired. Right when we booked, they told us that reservations weren't possible for the aperitivo and the following session, but that we'd have to choose one. There were plenty of free tables at the restaurant, so they could have let us finish our drinks more freely. However, when we asked for a second jug of sangria (which we deserved since we'd ordered 12 tapas!), they told us that they would bring it to us, but that we'd have to leave in six minutes due to the end of our session. Again, the restaurant was still partially empty.

The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Spanish dishes. The quality is average, the service friendly, and the atmosphere a bit noisy. I still recommend it if you love this cuisine!

A very good tapas bar: try gambas al ajillo, pulpo a la gallega, baccalà mantecato.. and among the desserts the delicious zabajone al Pedro Ximenes!
