I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Trento and the surrounding area. Local cuisine with a modern twist, super friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent value, and a truly stunning location. They also have a vast wine cellar, and last but not least, the place is pet-friendly.

A truly wonderful restaurant experience in Trento! Even the appetizers were a delight: the delicious ham with sauerkraut and potato pancakes – a regional specialty – was superb, as was the fresh mixed salad. The venison tagliatelle was an absolute highlight – perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we had octopus on lentil purée, and it was simply divine – tender, aromatic, and wonderfully balanced. To finish, we had an affogato, and finally, the proportions were perfect – neither too much coffee nor too much ice cream, but just right. The beautiful ambiance and the first-class, attentive service made the evening perfect. It's especially worth mentioning that we, as German guests, felt very welcome and warmly served – which isn't always the case. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a special culinary experience in Trento.

Travelling between Spain and then Italy for a few weeks; this has been by far the meal of the holiday.. lovely restaurant, outstanding, knowledgeable and friendly staff, amazing food at the average prices they charge in this town which was also worth every penny and in comparison with their quality they could charge even more..Highly recommended.. if in Trento again we shall definitely return.. 💞

Had a really delicious meal here. The staff were really friendly and helped us with the menu as our Italian is not great. The food was so good and we had a really interesting local wine. We dined on a Saturday and it was busy so would recommend making a reservation.

Great place for a quiet tasty evening. Has a family like atmosphere with really friendly staff. Great food and really high prices but they cater to the taste. I’d really recommend the Spatzle.

I had the pleasure of dining at "Al Vicolo" in Trento on New Year's Eve, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience! Even though we showed up without a reservation, the staff was incredibly helpful and very kindly found us a table. The à la carte dinner was a pleasant surprise, avoiding the traditional, overly expensive set menu. The dishes were well-prepared, with quality ingredients and generous portions. The wine and spirits selection was also impeccable, with truly interesting options. Special thanks to the staff, always kind and welcoming, and to the owners, whose affability made the evening even more enjoyable.
