Ai Spaghettari In Roma

The atmosphere is beautiful, and the location is clearly excellent. The service was quite good, but the downside is the food, and obviously, since that's the reason people go there, it's a shame. The appetizer was good, a nice mix of fried and classic dishes, with beans, cured meats, and cheeses. We should have stopped there. The carbonara was loose and runny, with spaghetti that was a bit undercooked (and I like it al dente), the amatriciana was unfortunately not very traditional, and someone ordered the gricia, which wasn't great either. For a restaurant in Trastevere serving traditional Roman cuisine, getting these dishes wrong is a serious mistake. We had the post-lunch coffee, and it was frozen (in the sense of cold). In short, all in all, I wouldn't go back.

We were planning to go somewhere else, but when we said we didn't have a reservation, we weren't treated the best, so we found this one. The food is excellent. We spent 40 euros and ordered two spritzes, a soda, and two pasta dishes that we couldn't finish.

De gerechten kwamen niet tegelijk. Ik was al bijna klaar toen het gerecht voor mijn echtgenote kwam. Daar werd wel uitgebreid excuses voor gemaakt. In de spaghetti zaten volop garnalen en mosselen. Het was erg lekker. Fruit na hadden ze niet. Het was een leuk wijkje met veel jongeren.
