The crescentine and tigelle are truly delicious, as are the cured meats to accompany them. The entire selection of savory and sweet toppings is also exquisite. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is informal and makes you feel right at home.

Authentic Bolognese crescentine. No frills, good substance. Friendly and welcoming, best to book. Returned recently: always the best crescentine in Bologna! Puffed, large, and not at all greasy. Even the tigelle are tasty and very flavorful. If you want, you can still speak dialect with the owner: a rarity given that our idiom (almost our own language) is sadly gradually disappearing.

Excellent tigelle and superb fried gnocchi, excellent cured meats, and delicious sauces. Very fair prices. Unfortunately, the rooftop echoes with the guests' chatter, making it hard to even talk to the neighbors. We went on Sunday because we were just passing through; perhaps the atmosphere is quieter on other days.

The service, cuisine, and atmosphere are top-notch.
They call themselves a "Chiosco," but given the quality of their ingredients and attentive service, they could easily be called an "Osteria."
