We stopped at La Mascheroni completely by chance on our way from Valdobbiadene to Bergamo, and it turned out to be one of the most delightful culinary surprises in Verona. Marius, the chef and co-owner, is involved in everything — cooking, service, atmosphere — and you can feel his dedication and passion in every moment. The attention to detail is remarkable, and the team’s involvement shines through.
The eggplant parmesan was outstanding, the fresh fettuccine with poultry liver typical of the Veneto area was beautifully balanced, the tagliatelle with ragù full of depth, and the traditional Veronese horse meat stew with creamy polenta was absolutely exceptional. Everything had clean, refined, memorable flavors. We finished with a lemon sorbet with orange zest and mint, the perfect refreshing ending.
A wonderful restaurant where you truly experience authentic Veronese cuisine — impressively crafted by a talented Romanian chef from Brașov. Absolutely recommended.

We called at 10 pm asking for two Amarone risottos. As soon as we arrived, we found the risottos already prepared! Excellent service, friendly and courteous staff, and, above all, delicious Amarone risotto.

The menu was unconventional, with homemade flavors and excellent quality.
I personally tried the homemade ravioli with braised beef and fava bean sprouts: a hearty dish with balanced flavors and a generous filling. Perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of pecorino cheese sprinkled on top.
They gave me a complimentary homemade sorbet, served with orange zest on a bed of lemon and orange sauce macerated in the zest. The first thing that strikes you is the intense aroma, followed by the consistency of the sorbet and its bold yet delicate flavor. Exceptional flavor, winning combinations that leave a lasting aftertaste.
