Ai Gondolieri In Venezia

Husband and I had a wonderful experience and we were lucky to order the chef’s Christmas menu with the wine pairing. Such great dishes. It was a beautiful journey. So happy to have found this gem via Michelin Guide.

Best carbonara we’ve ever had! A little expensive but totally worth it! We will come back for sure!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante con amici un sabato sera. Il locale è piccolo e carino in perfetto stile veneziano. Pulito e anche elegantino dai. Il personale molto gentile e professionale… petto d’anitra e filetto al top. Unica pecca il prezzo. È molto caro ma almeno si mangia bene e non sono cinesi. Tiramisù 15€. Siamo a Venezia. Ci potrei tornare.

The Ai Gondolieri restaurant stands out for its characteristic and welcoming atmosphere. The environment is made warm and pleasant by the wood-clad walls, which give a touch of tradition and intimacy. The service was attentive and polite, with the staff always helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the dining experience did not live up to expectations. We chose some dishes from the white truffle menu, but we were disappointed. The truffle, which should have been the star, was almost imperceptible, leaving the dishes lacking the distinctive flavor and aroma we expected. The most sore point, however, was the bill. We discovered a 10% increase indicated as "service tax", without any prior notification on the menu. This surprise left a bitter taste, making the experience seem more like a tourist trap than an authentic dinner in a typical Venetian restaurant. In summary, while the ambience and service were appreciable, the quality of the food and transparency on costs disappointed, leaving an overall negative impression.

By far the best restaurant in Venice. It was our last day and the best way to end our trip was to visit this restaurant. Great atmosphere, excellent service and amazing food. Totally recommend
