The hotel has a great location and is a really beautiful building. The facilities are good, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, and they make an effort to offer healthy options. Unfortunately, it's not clear where the eggs, ham, fruit, etc., come from. A declaration indicating whether the food is locally produced or organic would be desirable. Another point to consider: For travelers without children or those who prefer adults-only rooms, a weekday stay is recommended. On Saturday nights, there are many families with children of all ages. This noticeably increases the noise level, especially around the pool and in the rooms in the evening. Designating hallways and rooms as adults-only would be advisable. Overall, we would come back. The positives outweigh the negatives!

A former convent converted into a hotel, we stayed at this hotel for three nights in August. The hotel is truly charming due to its setting. There are numerous rooms, each purpose-built, tastefully decorated, with carefully selected furniture, all blending into a sophisticated atmosphere. The hotel offers a wide range of spa and massage services. The indoor heated pool saved us on days with uncertain and chilly weather. They have a very well-equipped gym, complete with Technogym equipment, something rare in Italian hotels. Their on-site restaurant deserves special mention. Impeccable service, exquisite dishes, and a tasteful, classy, and original decor. We were all very satisfied and amazed. The following observations are simply suggestions to help make this property even better than it already is: - We noticed a fairly large difference between the corridors and rooms on the ground floor and those on the first floor. It's true that the superior rooms are better, but making the environment aesthetically uniform and welcoming on all floors would make them feel more homogeneous. - The elevators could use an update. - The breakfast service could be much more professional, welcoming, and attentive. For three consecutive mornings, no one came to our table to ask what we'd like to drink or eat. I repeatedly pointed out missing items from the buffet. The service is also inattentive when it comes to delivering coffee. It would also be nice to be escorted to our table upon arrival. - The bathrooms by the indoor pool could be cleaner. - Closing the gym during lunchtime doesn't make much sense, although I understand the need since it's located within the spa area. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and we'll definitely return.

Located in the heart of Umbria, just steps from the historic center of Gubbio, the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini is a true oasis of elegance, history, and well-being. Housed in a carefully restored 17th-century convent, this hotel combines the charm of monastic architecture with modern comforts, offering a unique and refined experience. One of the hotel's undisputed highlights is the Cappuccini Wellness & Spa, a top-notch wellness center that is one of the finest in central Italy. The setting is evocative and relaxing, with a heated indoor pool framed by ancient stones, saunas, a Turkish bath, sensory showers, and a Mediterranean bath. Treatments offered range from rejuvenating massages to natural therapies by Marc Messegué, ideal for those seeking a true path to mental and physical rebalancing. The rooms, especially the Monasticum rooms, are spacious, spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished, some with balconies overlooking the Umbrian hills and the pools. The beds are comfortable, with quality toppers and pillows to suit every need. The tranquility is absolute, perfect for a rejuvenating stay. The staff is extremely professional and friendly, always available to satisfy every request with discretion and kindness. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, with high-quality sweet and savory options. The on-site Nicolao restaurant offers creatively reinterpreted traditional Umbrian dishes in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. In short, the Park Hotel ai Cappuccini is much more than just a hotel: it is a place where history, luxury, and well-being come together to offer an unforgettable experience. Ideal for couples seeking romance, for those seeking a regenerating break, or simply for those who appreciate beauty. Highly recommended.

Great hotel. Wonderful food in the restaurant. The bar could use some additional staff to improve service.

The Park Hotel ai Cappuccini is a 17th century convent which has been converted into a hotel. The grounds of the hotel are picturesque. The rooms were a nice size, and the beds were comfortable. The restaurant and its staff were amazing. They were very knowledgeable about food allergies. Breakfast was good and the staff very attentive. I would've liked to be able to toast or heat the gluten free packaged bread options. There was not a separate toaster for the gluten free section that I saw. I didn't get to use any spa facilities. I loved relaxing with a glass of wine, or cup of coffee by the fire after dinner. I did take away one star because the nights were quite cool at the beginning of October. My room was freezing. I asked the front desk about the heat twice. I was offered a blanket. Which was brought to my room. When you got up though, it was so cold. I do think I would've gotten very sick if someone in my traveling party hadn't asked the front desk for a small heater for me on our last night there. I do feel the lack of heat is the reason some of our traveling companions got sick. I do recommend the hotel and would stay here again.

A wonderful, all-round experience!!! We booked the package: bed, breakfast, half board, and spa access! Everything was superb, from the room (gorgeous, with a mattress over half a meter thick; we slept wonderfully) to the fantastic three-story spa; one of the infinity pools was 35°C at sunset. The property is supposedly a huge convent, completely renovated to perfection: a gym, tennis courts, a specialized medical center, a conference room, a private chapel, lounges, lounges, and lounges everywhere, filled with beautiful works of art; among many others, I admired two sculptures by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The staff is incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, and the dinner at the restaurant was a must-see. There was also a wedding in another room, and we were completely undisturbed, not by the noise, nor were there any delays in the kitchen, nor during the evening or night: no noise was heard from the room. The breakfast, folks, was first-class! Huge! Full of excellent products, truly homemade desserts, excellent tarts: well-made shortcrust pastry and non-industrial jams! The croissants were also very good; the carrot cake was amazing. Everything was perfect. The savory breakfast was very extensive. The cappuccino wasn't made from the damned vending machine, which unfortunately is also found in 4- and 5-star hotels these days, but was made by the barista at the coffee machine: it was very good and with real foam. If I really had to find a flaw, the only thing I'd say was the lack of electrical outlets near the bed. There was only one on each side, where the bedside lamp was attached! No other outlets for smartphones or other devices, even though the electrical plates had numerous empty spaces. This aspect could be improved. Everything else was top-notch. I invite those undecided to watch the video on YouTube by searching for "park hotel cappuccino gubbio drone".

An elegant and refined structure in every detail, just steps from the center of Gubbio. Cleanliness and the friendliness of the entire staff are impeccable. A peaceful setting to enjoy a relaxing weekend in the solarium and spa. The room is equipped with every comfort, including flip-flops, a bathrobe for the spa area, and a chocolate on the bedside table. The breakfast is plentiful and offers something for everyone, featuring fresh products and served on a delightful terrace with a view. Kudos to the management!

We truly enjoyed our stay in a wonderful, meticulously maintained historic property. We found the services excellent and the staff incredibly kind. We didn't use the spa (truly remarkable) due to the minimum age requirement (13) for our daughter's age, but we did have the privilege of having a fantastic pool (see photo) almost all to ourselves. The breakfast was excellent. A good base for a visit to Gubbio. Highly recommended.
