We had a family dinner at this agriturismo, sitting outside; the tables were well-spaced and comfortable. The service was friendly and fairly quick. The dishes were good, especially considering the portions served and the prices of other restaurants in the same town. I recommend the dumplings, especially the nettle ones, the grilled cheese, and the Zaine platter, which allows you to sample several specialties. The side dishes, though good, are less recommended, as they are rather sparse compared to the price.

This year too, we couldn't miss a visit to Zaine.
Excellent local food, excellent service with very kind waitresses.
Great for our granddaughters, who were able to play on the well-kept lawn and see the goats, rabbits, and donkeys.
Great for a peaceful and quiet lunch and a relaxing early afternoon.

A stunning location, with a pond with goats, sheep, geese, and two rabbits. There's also a children's playground. Service is very fast, and the staff are truly kind and courteous. Prices are reasonable, and the dishes are generally good, such as the dumpling and goulash platter (the barley soup, however, needs a bit of a makeover).
Highly recommended, especially for children.

I don't know how they manage to serve you so quickly with a full place. The girls are excellent. The food is always top notch. I hadn't been there in a few years and found the quality to be the same, if not better.

My review is for the restaurant only, as I didn't use the overnight stay.
The location is welcoming and typical of the area, in a mountain hut. You can feel the informal and friendly atmosphere of the mountain places. The food was excellent, and the value for money is among the best in Sappada. I recommend everyone to come for lunch or dinner here at least once when they stop in town. I'll definitely be back!

L'agriturismo Zaine è uno dei nostri punti riferimento, quando soggiorniamo a Sappada. Locale rustico, con la possibilità di cenare sia all'interno che all'esterno; cibo caratteristico, buona scelta di piatti e prezzo adeguato.
Assolutamente consigliato per una cena rilassante, all'aria aperta, con vista sulle montagne.
