Very friendly staff. All young and motivated, and almost all of them speak excellent English. Kudos! That's still not a given in Italy, even these days.
The entire decor and furnishings are absolutely stunning.
The food was superb. The portions were generous. The price-performance ratio is definitely right.
We highly recommend Villa delle Rose and have already made a reservation for tomorrow.
In our experience, a reservation is absolutely essential, as it seemed to us that the whole of Vicenza came here for dinner.

We had lunch on Sunday for Mother's Day with a buffet menu. We'd been there last year and came home thrilled.
But this year was a disappointment. The waiters were exhausted by the nervousness the customers conveyed after finding chaos. Empty trays. People crowded together like grasshoppers. You could only go around the buffet twice, not like last year, when you could go whenever you wanted and therefore eat more calmly.
We're sorry, but it was disappointing.

Today's buffet lunch... good food, but poor service and organization. There was no coordination in the distribution of the dishes. Serving the starters with loose hair didn't seem very hygienic to me, since I even found a hair on my plate.

We went to this location today for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, it wasn't a positive experience. We ordered two grilled dishes, but the wait was truly long. 1 hour and 35 minutes. It's not possible. A word of advice: When the wait is long, the customer shouldn't be abandoned; at the very least, apologize and bring them something to nibble on in the meantime. Eating at 2:45 PM, so close to closing time, isn't a good idea, with waiters cleaning the room with the window open in the cold, gloomy day, and feeling the heat on your neck from the rush. Then, at the cash register, they don't even offer an apology, even though they're paying down the pennies. In other restaurants, the apology is offered to the customer with a discount.

It's a comfortable restaurant; it feels like an upscale junk shop; it's very spacious, ideal for chatting over lunch or dinner. A wide selection of food, well-prepared.

A truly beautiful and unique location, decorated with attention to detail. A very extensive menu and fair prices. Unfortunately, the tagliata was a little warm, but still delicious. 🔝
