If you want silence and peace without too many luxuries, without the noise of trains, traffic lights, cars, etc., but only the chirping of birds, this is the right place. We only stayed overnight and had breakfast. Congratulations to Simone, we'll be back for dinner.
Note for cyclists: they kept our bikes in a covered garage.

A beautiful farmhouse in the Ferrara countryside. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable about local products. He's also a talented chef. A little tip: avoid placing plastic flowers on the tables.

We stayed at "Valle Isola" for 12 nights during our summer vacation in Italy - me, my wife and our two kids.
"Valle Isola" is a farm accommodation (Agriturismo) that offers an amazing mixture of experiencing quiet and slow life in the village, outstanding food, great accommodation and visiting the beaches near Comacchio. The hosts - Simone and Monica - are extraordinary people. Warm, welcoming, always helpful and there for any wish that you may have. Despite the language barrier (we don't speak Italian), we felt like making friends with them from the very first day.
We stayed in a two-room apartment on the second floor. It was perfectly clean and furnished with taste. The beds were very comfortable and there is an AC for the hot days. Since it was also very quiet, we had an amazing sleep during the whole stay. During the night you can hear the crickets outside, which brings back sweet childhood memories form the summer vacations spent in the village. The rooms are also cleaned every second day, which is very rare. Typically B&B's clean only once per week.
For breakfast, you can choose between sweet and savory. It is prepared with lots of love and completely at place with local products. It is extremely tasty.
The beaches of "Lido delle Nazioni" are just a 5-10 minute drive from the farm-house and therefore very convenient if you stay at "Valle Isola" during the summer.
We had dinner at the restaurant two times. The food, which is cooked by Simone, is out of this world - traditional Italian, balanced, extremely tasty and all home-cooked with local products. We had a full-course dinner and I can safely say, that we never ate anything tastier than that in a restaurant in our whole life.
We came as guests, but we left as friends. We will be definitely coming back again!

Excellent experience: a place that, although not far from the busy Romea, does not suffer from it in terms of tranquility and silence: an island but not alienated but well anchored to the territory. The large building is the typical exposed red brick house, which well reflects its history and the link with the territory. Around, still within the agriturismo, there is a beautiful park but the estate also includes large areas of organic cultivation, whose products will be part of the gastronomic proposal.
Simone is the host: available, rigorous, a practical and active man. Simone is the one who welcomes, he is the chef who presents traditional dishes but revisited with taste and excellent on the palate, a non-trivial menu. Simone "is" this agriturismo also in its practical management aspects. Monica is the gentle soul of the place, discreet, present and effective.
The spaces are well kept, tastefully furnished, all in an overall warm, welcoming and very clean environment.
