A genuine place, friendly service, and generous, carefully prepared dishes... the quality of the food is beyond question! I stopped for dinner on Saturday evening, January 10th, returning from a climb up the Alpe di Succiso. I would like to thank the kind waitress, chef, and lady who also served in the adjacent bar. I always gladly return to these wonderful places in our Reggio Emilia Apennines.

08/06/2026: A return to the past in every way: traditional food and cuisine (all excellent), very kind owner, a place stuck in the past a few years ago but absolutely wonderful as it is!!
05/06/2026: Typical Reggio Emilia cuisine, just like it used to be! The owner is very passionate and describes the dishes perfectly, offering valuable advice. The interior is very refined and homey. Excellent prices!

22/05/2026: May 22, 2026, at lunch, I asked if Prugnoli mushrooms were available, but unfortunately they weren't. I chose a first course that didn't include mushrooms anyway, to satisfy another craving during the meal. To my surprise, the owner brought me a separate bowl with a sauce made with excellent porcini mushrooms, which I had to mop up. The desserts were excellent. Now that I've seen the bill, I'm even more satisfied to say that I ate well at a decidedly low cost compared to the quality of the food. I would definitely go back. Well done, highly recommended. I forgot to mention that I read the pizza menu, which is only available in the evening. I'm still eager to go and try these specialties.
