Agriturismo Serine In Castrignano del capo

We were guests at Masseria Cerine for a birthday dinner during our vacation in Salento. Highly recommended for those seeking excellent cuisine, hospitality, and tradition. The helpfulness and kindness of the owner, whom we spoke to over the phone about the reservation, could only be a precursor to such a valuable staff. Thanks for the tiramisu.

Tradition and flavors...envelop you at this agriturismo. The traditional cuisine invites you to taste dishes your palate never knew existed. Very good, authentic food. It was a great experience for me...even though I'm always out for dinner for work, this place made me feel at home. I'll gladly return, thank you. Belva

A good dinner, as expected, I missed the true flavors of Puglia.

Nice relaxing get away, only a short drive to Santa Maria di Leuca. Very spacious rooms with a lovely patio to relax, just a little dated but its authentic to the rustic stay. Rooms have AC, I stayed next door to a family with small children, and did not hear any noise in my room, it was nice and quiet. My room also had a kitchenette-- didn't use it though. Gorgeous grounds. Staff was very friendly- don't speak english too well, but we made it work. Feels like you're staying with family. Excellent service at the restaurant. Nice, light breakfast. Didn't get the chance to swim at the pool as I went to the beach instead, but pool was clean and updated. Stunning views from this location, especially at golden hour- truly fits the name, Serene. I would definitely be back

We had a good time, the staff were friendly and the dishes were excellent and respectful of the local tradition.

We come to Puglia almost every year and had dinner at this agriturismo a couple of years ago in June with friends. We were so pleased with the food and the experience itself, we couldn't wait to return this summer. Unfortunately, however, this year felt like a slightly different experience. I remember we ate so many different appetizers, so much so that we were already almost full after the appetizer. This time, however, we were served 4-5 vegetable dishes, which seemed more like side dishes than appetizers, pittule (a kind of pasta), and a sampling of potato cake. Everything was good, as were the first courses, but I preferred the variety of appetizers I'd tried two years ago. At this point, I don't know if they make changes to the menu based on the month, because two years ago, we recommended dinner here to friends who were coming in August, and they also told us they'd eaten different things than we had, who'd been in June. I don't know. In any case, the food is good, and the location, surrounded by nature, is very evocative and relaxing. The focus on organic and vegetarian food is much appreciated.

Excelente comida en un ambiente auténtico. Los antipasti estaban muy buenos y con muchas verduras. Lo mejor que hemos comido. No hablaban Inglés lo que te hacía sentir como si estuvieras de vacaciones.
