I'm from the area. I confess I'm not a fan of eating out, but when I really have to make an exception, Agriturismo Sant'Agata is our first choice. Halfway between Melfi and Rapolla, in a panoramic location overlooking the east from a relaxing viewpoint in the parking lot courtyard, Sant'Agata offers a rustic and welcoming setting, where the (exceptional) appetizers tantalize the palate long before moving on to the first courses: my favorite is the strozzapreti with butter and sage. The roast meats are always popular, and the homemade desserts are plentiful. The location is so pleasant that you'd never want to leave. The price is adequate for the service.

Beautiful place and beautiful manorama...they also accept small dogs, even though we sat outside under the gazebo we had a great time...the waiters are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The food is excellent.

Un vero spettacolo! Di passaggio per lavoro abbiamo pranzato in questo agriturismo. Ci siamo deliziati degli antipasti tipici. Tutto buono ma i fiori di zucca in pastella e le frittelle di zucchina sono stati un vero spettacolo. E poi io mi son fermata perchè ero veramente piena. Ma il mio compagno di viaggio ha preso la fascina al forno ed è stato un piatto sublime. Da tornare sicuramente!

One of those joys that only true friendship, respect, and affection can give. Yesterday we experienced the usual unforgettable day that you, the tireless and attentive managers of your Agriturismo, run with your usual love and passion, gave us. Everything was beautiful: the nature, the structure, the food, and your now renowned courtesy and helpfulness were once again the key elements of your being who you are, two wonderful and wonderful people.
