Agriturismo Podere Torricella - Fattoria il Turco In Montespertoli

Compared to the last time, a few years ago, I found it a little less intriguing and tasty, especially the second courses (rated 3). It hasn't increased its prices like others (rated 4) and the staff is always top-notch, courteous, efficient and moderately playful (rated 5). The location was and remains fantastic.

We were looking for a place to dine outdoors with a bit of fresh air... and we found this, but honestly considering how the restaurant looks and the prices I expected a menu up to par. The mixed starter at 20 euros per person was exaggerated, considering that most of it was cold cuts. 5 ravioli for 15 euros good but not special or particular, not to mention the dessert, absolutely avoid the citrus cream. The Florentine steak looked like it was cooked by a Milanese: too much! As for the service, except for a young girl who had just been hired who was courteous and smiling, the rest of the staff was very shady. I also advise you to check for wasp nests because managing to eat the appetizer was a real feat given the dozen wasps present on the table. For me it's not worth the money, I wouldn't go back.

Torricella is a wonderful place for family gatherings and large groups. The spacious and picturesque setting is perfect for creating memorable experiences with loved ones. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for enjoying time together. The food was good overall, but it fell short of excellence. While the flavors were pleasant, the pasta was disappointing—it was runny and overcooked, which detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and I would recommend Podere Torricella for its lovely atmosphere and suitability for large groups. With some improvements in the kitchen, it could easily become a top-notch destination.

Abbiamo festeggiato qua la Comunione di mia figlia ed è stato tutto al di sopra di ogni aspettativa: panorama spettacolare, cibo ottimo per qualità e quantità, personale gentile, sorridente e disponibile, costo più che onesto per rapporto qualità-prezzo (addirittura ci è stato fatto un ulteriore sconto per i bimbi). Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo anche per le Cerimonie! Grazie

Fantastic! We had dinner twice at this restaurant and the food and service were fantastic. The view from the terrace is wonderful, and we were lucky enough to eat outside both evenings.

My wife and I ate a last minute dinner after arriving in Scandicci and ended up up here. What an amazing accident. We had the a taste of all the appetizers. Soooo good. And my wife had the sous vide and grilled pigeon with potatoes. I had the veal tongue on crispy polenta. The atmosphere, the food, the rolling Tuscan hills out the windows. Just pure magic. You need to try!

We ate here by chance, looking for a nice place to spend a day with friends, the place is lovely and well looked after, both in terms of furnishings and in terms of taste. The farm is immersed in the Tuscan countryside surrounded by vineyards of all types, extremely well-kept and tidy. The food? What can I say... excellent, quality. Top service, the waitresses always ready to take care of the customer, with new requests. Lunch begins with an offering of prosecco and a basket of sgabei or fried gnocco, absolutely light, they go down a pleasure 🙂. Varied menu of new and particular dishes. Seasoned just right and not heavy at all. We had a first course each, and 2.5 kg of Florentine (there were 4 of us plus an 11 year old child), dessert, 1 bottle of red Chianti, coffee and liqueurs, spending €60 each. The flaw that ruined lunch a bit was the back and forth of people going out onto the terrace, constantly opening the door and it was drafty, the cold air while you were eating wasn't very pleasant. I would recommend leaving the door closed in the winter or at least not placing the table close to the door.

Bel pranzo in terrazza con vista sulle colline toscane. Cibo ottimo ed abbondante. Staff gentile, competente e disponibile.
