Agriturismo Monte Criscione In Avola

Homemade cuisine like few others left in the area.

We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Monte Criscione farmhouse and we were fully satisfied. The food is excellent, with authentic dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Each course was a pleasure for the palate! The staff is extremely kind and attentive, making the atmosphere even more pleasant. The view is truly spectacular: you can admire the surrounding greenery and, in the distance, the sea, which gives a touch of magic to the whole experience. The quality-price ratio is also average, which makes everything even more appreciable. We highly recommend this farmhouse to anyone looking for a relaxing and tasty break surrounded by nature!

I was invited to lunch, so I don't know how much everything I'm about to write costs. We start with an aperitif of chips, peanuts, pretzels, and a spritz / glass of slightly muscat white wine. Afterwards, a parade of appetizers of all kinds, from olives to grilled vegetables, soups, ricotta in all forms, platters of cured meats, cold cuts and cheeses. Two first courses: penne with mushrooms on a huge tray, ricotta ravioli with pork sauce. For the second course we chose a dish of pork with sauce. Desserts of the day: strawberry cheesecake, tiramisu, caramel panna cotta, almond blancmange. Obviously, plenty of house red wine, more than discreet. However, at the entrance I read the possibility of choosing two types of menu around 25-30 euros each. The location is not very easy but at the same time it gives that sense of "out of this world" that you want to get when you eat in similar farmhouses.

We stayed here for three nights and everything was perfect! The welcome was warm and all the staff very friendly. A big thank you to Alessandro and the whole team for their kindness! We also dined at the restaurant every evening, where everything was delicious and plentiful (special mention for the zucchini pasta, a treat!). The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. Breakfast was also excellent. 😊

Ho avuto il piacere di visitare l'agriturismo Monte Criscione ad Avola ed è stata un'esperienza decisamente positia. I piatti offerti sono un vero tripudio di sapori genuini e caserecci, che riflettono perfettamente la tradizione siciliana. Ogni portata è preparata con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, e si sente davvero il legame con la terra. L'accoglienza è stata calorosa, con un'atmosfera familiare che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Alessandro, è una persona gentilissima e sempre disponibile, pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con un sorriso. Se cercate un luogo dove assaporare la vera Sicilia e rilassarvi immersi nella natura, Monte Criscione è il posto giusto. Vista spettacolare. Consigliatissimo!
