The agriturismo is on top of a hill. It is very pretty and well-kept. The dishes are not many but that's better. Personally I took the tagliata and I liked it a lot. The environment is very relaxing and I had a good time. Thank you!

Agriturismo Mastrosasso is now my fixed point for a nice Lucullan lunch on Sundays. Finding a place to eat an amazing Florentine steak. On various occasions I have had the opportunity to try first courses, appetizers and other second courses that are equally phenomenal, but the Florentine steak remains the reason why I come here on the hills to enjoy fabulous meat cooked to perfection. Then add the view, the conviviality, the kind, friendly and courteous staff, the excellent wine and you have bingo. Highly recommended.

Spectacular first courses, highly recommended the tagliatelle with artichokes and pasta al torchio. Excellent grill, ribs and tagliata that melt in your mouth. The only flaw is the desserts, certainly excellent but the mascarpone and zuppa inglese were warm. Courteous and fairly accurate service. Beautiful location.

Farmhouse surrounded by greenery. Very good first courses. Very good meat and cooked on the grill, perfectly. Price: 30-40 per person. I recommend it.

Full, elegant wines, you can tell that there is real work and passion behind it. Then comes the menu, short and precise, built around the territory. Vegetables from the garden are not just a side dish, but the protagonists to embellish the grilled meats, cooked to perfection. And then the dish that I will not forget: the liver, pierced and served with caramelized onion. An intense, deep dish, which with a sip of their splendid Barbera becomes rounded, almost poetic. There is also truffle, when it is in season, and here they do not skimp: it arrives decisive, fragrant, generous. From bread to desserts, every element is thought out, cared for. There is nothing superfluous, everything has a meaning. And when you get up from the table, you are left with that beautiful and rare feeling: not only of having eaten well, but of having been well. In an area like this, between Bologna and Modena, the offer is vast and of quality. But here the simplicity and truth of things done well win. And with a welcome that makes you want to return, even before leaving.
