An enchanting location, surrounded by nature. Suitable for all types of travelers, singles, couples, and families. A short drive or walk will easily take you to the centers of Rotonda and Viggianello, two of Italy's most beautiful villages. The Masseria's restaurant is simply stunning, offering traditional dishes expertly prepared by Antonio, the chef and owner, with a simple and authentic approach, just like his dishes. Highly recommended.

Anyone who writes a negative review about this place, Antonio, or his staff is either acting in bad faith or has never left their home. We stayed there for three days and two nights. The rooms aren't like those of a starred hotel, nor is there a concierge service, but they've got everything you need. The food is spectacular. Breakfast is simple but complete, unlike the typical hotel buffet. Cakes, biscuits, jams, and milk are brought to your table. Tea, coffee, cappuccino, etc., are available upon request. If you want a savory breakfast, it's because you're not Italian or you're low on sodium.
When it comes to lunch and dinner, this place is truly amazing. The appetizers are simple but very good, with cured meats, cheeses, and vegetables. The first courses are excellent and plentiful, with the Tagliatelle ai Porcini mushrooms being a winner. The second courses are top-notch. Again, anyone who complains about the food or the place is someone who has never left their home and doesn't know what's out there.

Antonio is a person who exudes love for his work. Dinner on December 30th is exceptional. If you want to taste typical Pollino products, this is the ideal place. Plus, the friendliness and helpfulness are a given. However, you'll need to fast a while beforehand to complete the meal (we stopped for a few shared first courses).
Pan with melted cheese and potatoes, local beans, and pasta with truffles were my favorites, but that's a matter of personal preference. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, impeccable staff, and a competent and truly knowledgeable chef and owner.
We ate so well that after lunch we returned for dinner... If we had stayed longer, we would have tried the entire menu: everything was delicious and top-quality!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
A truly unique treat: in the parking lot (something not to be taken for granted in these places), you'll be greeted by Romeo: a super-friendly four-legged friend who will escort you to the restaurant entrance and then back to the parking lot.

What can I say? I can't find a suitable adjective to describe this property. I'll try to invent one.
Everything was wonderful: the cleanliness was exceptional, the friendliness was great, the professionalism was excellent, the products were delicious, and everything was cooked fresh.
I didn't have the honor of staying at the property because it was fully booked, but I stayed at another of their properties located in the center of Rotonda, in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
5 stars is not enough, however.
I recommend it to everyone.

This is our second time staying at Masseria Campolerose, and like last time, it turned out to be a truly perfect choice. Aside from the lovely, comfortable rooms and the location, nestled in the countryside with animals and plenty of space for children, the real highlight of this place is Chef Antonio's cuisine, which is plentiful and delicious. Everyone is very welcoming and kind, highly recommended! Book well in advance!
