I had the pleasure of staying at this property, and the experience was truly wonderful. Antonio and Francesco are extremely welcoming: from the moment you arrive, they make you feel at home, with a kindness and attention that truly makes a difference. The property and its surroundings are comfortable, relaxing, and very clean. The food is excellent, high-quality, and above all, plentiful, prepared with great care and passion. Furthermore, the view is simply stunning: waking up to such a beautiful view makes your stay even more special. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking to spend a few days relaxing, enjoying good food, and experiencing authentic hospitality. I will definitely be back!

We booked by chance. We were looking for a farmhouse in Vigianello for lunch. A Google search caught our eye, and the photos of the dishes did their part. In fact, we can only confirm their deliciousness...simple but very tasty. The "enchanted place" location exudes tranquility and relaxation. The staff 🔝 are kind and attentive. Highly recommended.

We just left Masseria Campolerose in Viggianello, and the experience was fantastic in every way! We ate divinely in an authentic and welcoming atmosphere. Lunch began with an incredible variety of traditional appetizers: excellent local cured meats, fresh cheeses, meatballs in tomato sauce and delicious fritters, beans and sausage, and other local specialties. For first courses, we shared fettuccine with wild boar (the meat is incredibly tender) and fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffles, with an intoxicating aroma. The portions are truly generous and the value is excellent. We finished with a delicious fig and walnut tart, a chocolate and orange dessert, and a homemade herbal digestif that is simply amazing. Special thanks to the owners for their kindness and hospitality: you truly feel at home. The masseria is nestled in a splendid location, perfect for enjoying the peace of the Pollino. We will definitely be back!

An enchanting location, surrounded by nature. Suitable for all types of travelers, singles, couples, and families. A short drive or walk will easily take you to the centers of Rotonda and Viggianello, two of Italy's most beautiful villages. The Masseria's restaurant is simply stunning, offering traditional dishes expertly prepared by Antonio, the chef and owner, with a simple and authentic approach, just like his dishes. Highly recommended.

Anyone who writes a negative review about this place, Antonio, or his staff is either acting in bad faith or has never left their home. We stayed there for three days and two nights. The rooms aren't like those of a starred hotel, nor is there a concierge service, but they've got everything you need. The food is spectacular. Breakfast is simple but complete, unlike the typical hotel buffet. Cakes, biscuits, jams, and milk are brought to your table. Tea, coffee, cappuccino, etc., are available upon request. If you want a savory breakfast, it's because you're not Italian or you're low on sodium. When it comes to lunch and dinner, this place is truly amazing. The appetizers are simple but very good, with cured meats, cheeses, and vegetables. The first courses are excellent and plentiful, with the Tagliatelle ai Porcini mushrooms being a winner. The second courses are top-notch. Again, anyone who complains about the food or the place is someone who has never left their home and doesn't know what's out there.

Antonio is a person who exudes love for his work. Dinner on December 30th is exceptional. If you want to taste typical Pollino products, this is the ideal place. Plus, the friendliness and helpfulness are a given. However, you'll need to fast a while beforehand to complete the meal (we stopped for a few shared first courses). Pan with melted cheese and potatoes, local beans, and pasta with truffles were my favorites, but that's a matter of personal preference. Highly recommended.
