We've been back a couple of times already, not to stay, but for dinner: exquisite home-made products. We also tried Taroz (a traditional Valtellina dish, now hard to find). The owners are lovely and friendly. Highly recommended.

I confirm the positive things I've already said. Wonderful location between Gavia and Santa Caterina. Stunning views. Everyone is friendly and smiling. Trust their recommendations, the specials of the day... but save room for the mixed cheese platter (superb cheeses) and, of course, the desserts made with their milk. The mountain hut is also a halfway point/stop on hiking trails. You can't miss it. I'll definitely return and recommend it.

Excellent food and fair prices. Very friendly staff. The interior is small but welcoming. Reservations are recommended, otherwise there are tables outside with a beautiful view.

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, located in a breathtaking location. It's a great place to stop after climbing the Gavia Pass, or simply mid-trek. The food is delicious, with fresh ingredients that can vary slightly from day to day. We went twice in the same week, and the cheeseboard featured a few different cheeses, which were explained to you as soon as they were served. The desserts are also excellent; I tried both the cheesecake and the tiramisu, and both were absolutely stunning. The only downside is the number of tables! It's best to book to secure a spot inside; alternatively, there are also outdoor seating options. In conclusion, the prices are fair and reasonable; highly recommended!

A mountain hut located at the foot of Mount Gavia, with picture-perfect views. We enjoyed a mid-August dinner, featuring typical local products, especially homemade ones. The platter was excellent, as was the Russian salad. Traditional first courses included tagliatelle with meat sauce and pizzoccheri...Special mention for the beef fillet. The staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly. The food exceeded my expectations, and was right for the quality of the products. Highly recommended
