The Alpe hut is a small jewel located along the road to the Gavia pass. Located at 2239m above sea level, it is a small mountain hut where you can find simple and genuine cuisine. The environment is warm, very welcoming and the owners extremely kind. You will find excellent cheeses they produce as well as other products (especially jams). A stop is highly recommended even just for a delicious tart snack.

...fourth time in the summer...once on a MTB/E once on foot from Sunny Valley, once on foot and once on a motorbike...a certainty for a sublime and particular lunch stop...reservation required for me I recommend 👍🏻😉🍻

ottimo agriturismo ,siamo stati a cena a fine luglio con la nostra famiglia e abbiamo mangiato ottimi prodotti tutti fatti da loro ,formaggi e salumi ottimi ,locale molto bello e la famiglia che lo gestisce e stata molto accogliente.

I was returning from Sunny Valley and passed in front of the hut at around 1.30pm. I was hungry so I asked if there was room. I ate well, the portions were generous and I paid the right price: everything was good. Once finished I left for Santa Caterina "the tagliatelle were made by them, you could see and feel it"

Piccolo alpeggio a poca distanza dal Passo di Gavia, pochi passi su strada sterrata dove incontri vacche, asini e cavalli liberi al pascolo (ovviamente recintato) si arriva alla malga, piccola costruzione di sassi e legno con a fianco i ricoveri per gli animali, un pollaio con galline ruspanti ed il caseificio e la cantina per produzione e stagionatura di formaggi di latte vaccino e caprino, acquistabili, da non dimenticare la vista sulla Valfurva e quella dei Forni. Pranzo sui tavoli esterni, coperti da teli e con una brezza piacevolissima; il punteggio alto è più che meritato: polenta con funghi porcini e polenta e guanciale, polenta con farine diverse a grana non finissima, funghi a fette piuttosto grandi, carne tenerissima con sughetto delizioso, vino rosso Valtellina ed 1 calice di prosecco, dolce++++budino fatto in casa con aggiunta di amaretti e mandorle caramellate; la cortesia dei titolari e famiglia e’ veramente fuori dal comune. Andateci…….sarete soddisfatti.

One of the most beautiful places that Valfurva has to offer. Excellent food, all prepared with ingredients directly produced by them. Exquisite staff, super helpful and especially kind. Sweet animals to pet. And wonderful view. Super recommended!!

We stayed at the Malga this weekend and felt at home!!! Federica with Luca (and their children) welcome you and "let you enter their world and their daily routine"! The house they let us stay in is really a small apartment with everything you need, and we had a really good time... the view from those little windows is priceless!! Breakfast and dinner, with 0 km products, are really excellent!! Compliments!! Not to mention the opportunity given to children to reconnect with nature and animals in "simple" but important activities such as collecting eggs in the henhouse, milking cows and goats, or witnessing the transformation of milk into cheese. There are numerous paths for healthy trekking!! I can say that when I was looking for the right gift for our 9 year old granddaughter and for the two of us... everything I imagined and maybe even more... I found it right here at Malga Valle dell'Alpe!! Thank you

15/05/2025: - Food: it's good, but there are undeclared ingredients in the dishes, for example in the meat tartare there are little pieces of olives. If I had known I would never have taken it, as I have the same opinion of the olives that Caleel has in the live action of Mulan. In the veal with tuna sauce there is a slightly spicy sweet and sour sauce. Uh, okay? On a positive note, if you ask for their strongest wine everything becomes tolerable, even the olives. Their Sforzato wine is really good, and I'm not one who loves wine, this is strong but it's fruity. Even the bread they bring you is good, especially the one in the shape of a flattened donut. The portions in general are honest. - Atmosphere: nice, well-kept, young and airy, I appreciate that the tables are not all stuck together. But to tolerate the volume of the music, wine is not enough, you also need noise reducers. Luckily I had some with me there. (PS: the reducers alone are not enough, you really need wine too, assures my friend who had the reducers but is teetotal and had that face all evening, the "I hope they bring me everything really quickly because I want to leave" face). I have so much pity for those who work here for hours, I feel u. Five stars for the service considering the working conditions. - Service: okay, kind and friendly staff, they also bring you a free taster upon arrival, and they even made the gesture of turning down the music a little when we asked. It must be said that on the ground floor it is less loud, on the upper floor much louder. - Bill: okay, a little expensive but within the limits of normal, and in any case they have the menu displayed outside so there are no surprises.
12/05/2025: Everything perfect! The tagliolini with prawn ragout are delicious... delicious strudel... I haven't eaten one like this in a long time!

06/04/2025: The legendary Gianni's pizza is highly recommended! Crispy and tasty! Mandatory stop when you want to enjoy an excellent pizza! I recommend the one with Zola and apples!
