Unforgettable Dinner and Evening Friday evening, a strike day, with chaos on the highways and roads, what better way to spend dinner than from Rho to San Fermo della Battaglia in Cavallasca with dear friends R. & G. First of all, Agriturismo Agrifoglio is located on the Cavallasca hill (about 600 meters above sea level) in a stunning location, immersed in the natural beauty of the Spina Verde Regional Park. From here, you can enjoy an incredible view all the way to Milan, both day and night. For those not familiar with the area, it's not easy to find the road immediately (there are few signs in Cavallasca), which winds up a narrow road that runs alongside the last houses and then turns into a winding and challenging dirt road. Once you reach the location, which resembles a mountain bay, you'll find a large parking lot; On spring and summer days, in daylight, you can appreciate the climb by walking along the adjacent paths. Let's move on to Agrifoglio and its cuisine. You can enjoy several fixed-price menus with options ranging from appetizers, first courses, and second courses, or with two first and/or second courses, and others that also include desserts, at more than reasonable prices. We chose à la carte, which actually consists of the same dishes as the fixed-price menus, as we were worried (rightly so) that we wouldn't be able to eat everything. The dishes are indeed generous, and since we chose one appetizer and one second course each, we really struggled to order dessert. We started with a selection of house mixed appetizers for four, consisting (at least on the evening we dined) of various artisanal cured meats (including cooked salami), cheeses with onion cream, grilled and fried vegetables, small bruschettas, and ladyfingers salad. The bread was also excellent, unfortunately, because we ate a whole bag of it while waiting for the appetizer, which probably filled us up more than we should have. For main courses, we opted for a Fillet with Green Peppercorns, a Grilled Fillet, Venison Stew (all 3 off-menu), and Braised Donkey, dishes accompanied by the typical Polenta Concia, all washed down with a 1-liter jug ​​of house Barbera. Sublime, sublime, high-quality flavors, thanks to the attention to detail of the chefs in the kitchen, who hark back to the region's rural roots. In the end, we limited ourselves to lemon and persimmon sorbets and two small samples of tiramisu panna cotta. Kudos to the attentive, attentive, and helpful wait staff, whose kindness and cordiality were greatly appreciated, as well as the ever-present presence of the owner, who occasionally comes by to gently check in on everything. The venue boasts spacious rooms with a rustic yet elegant charm, capable of hosting no fewer than 150 people (or perhaps more), making it the ideal setting for any special occasion, including weddings, birthdays, and other group events. Without exaggeration, I can say that Agriturismo Agrifoglio is a fantastic location where authenticity and hospitality meet. It made our dinner unforgettable, perhaps for lunch again during the warmer months to further appreciate the outdoor setting and the views of Brianza and Milan.

A stunning, enchanting location on a hill offering a remarkable view. The food is typically local, prepared with passion and top-quality, locally sourced ingredients. The atmosphere is vibrant, vibrant, and in tune with its guests. We celebrated our wedding there. Everything ran very smoothly.
