Agriturismo La Piana In Teglio

Discovered by chance, not easy to get to but definitely worth it. Local food with a fixed menu, fair prices.

A very characteristic farmhouse above Teglio. A very relaxing, relatively rustic atmosphere, surrounded by greenery (and cool!). A typical local fixed menu, with some of the best sciatt I've ever eaten. The pizzoccheri were FANTASTIC, the best in my opinion. Even though the portions were already generous, we were asked if we wanted more, which we accepted. In the end, we took them home 😊. Theoretically, there would have been meat (ribs and/or roast), but we were already full. We finished with the house dessert and coffee for a very reasonable price (plus the cured meats appetizer, not mentioned above, as it's standard). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED... We'll be back!

Truly excellent and rustic pizzoccheri… the rough pasta absorbs the butter like a sponge!!!

Agriturismo la Piana is a very beautiful place surrounded by woods, greenery and tranquility. However, it is not easy to get there. The road is narrow and very bumpy in the middle of the woods. If you have low cars, do not try. For those who can get there after three hundred meters of this road, the place is worth it. The food is excellent, the price is also good. Peace and relaxation in the greenery and silence. My advice: go there if you pass by. Homemade, zero-mile food.

Nestled in the woods at approximately 1,200 meters above sea level, with panoramic views of the peaks of the Orobie and Valtellina. The sunny clearing offers a very peaceful atmosphere, ideal for those seeking relaxation and fresh air. Traditional Valtellina menu: appetizers of cured meats and sciatt, pizzoccheri, a meat-based main course, homemade desserts, and moka pot coffee. Many reviewers report generous portions with the option of seconds. The dishes are simple, well-cooked, and locally sourced.

Excellent food, place immersed in the larch forest, outdoor play area for children which is not to be underestimated for those who had 4 like us...
