We celebrated a birthday with 37 people, top lunch excellent service with care and kindness, place surrounded by nature with pony riding for the little ones highly recommended!!!!!

Some friends and I chose Agriturismo La Melazza for a Sunday lunch. It was our first time there and, probably, our last. The basic concept is interesting: they organize lunch with families with children in mind, with entertainers who keep them entertained while the parents eat. On paper, it's a great idea. The problem is that, given how it's organized, it's still just an idea with a lot of room for improvement. As soon as we entered, we immediately noticed a certain amount of confusion. We had to wait for about five minutes standing without anyone welcoming us or directing us to our table, while the line behind us continued to grow. The main room is very large, but the tables are too close together. Plus, there's music from the entertainers working with the children. It must be said that the entertainers are always smiling and helpful, so there's nothing to complain about. The key is the organization: if the goal is for families to relax during lunch, putting entertainment, music, and tables all in the same room only creates a lot of chaos. It's difficult to even have a simple conversation at the table without the music practically in your ears. The food could also be improved. The menu is set but fairly bland, with nothing that really stands out. For example, the fennel salad seemed to have been prepared the day before; it was wilted and had a bit of water at the bottom. Overall, a decent lunch, but without any particular strengths. The only thing I found really nice was the opportunity for children to go on a pony ride (€5), which is definitely a fun experience for them. It's just a shame that it's offered without a receipt, despite the number of children attending. In short, there are better options for spending a Sunday at a farmhouse. There's potential here, but more attention to organization, space management, and service quality is needed.

I celebrated my son's 18th birthday on Saturday, January 2026. The owner, Giacomo, is a wonderful person, very helpful and kind, and so are the service staff. The place is very spacious and welcoming, and the buffet is delicious, everything is fresh and plentiful. Thank you 💯

Yesterday, January 1, 2026, we had lunch and were very grateful for the restaurant's professionalism, the meticulously organized service, and the delicious, fresh dishes served. While strolling through the property, we noticed that there are accommodations available, as well as a riding stable and a swimming pool. Everything was well-maintained and we highly recommend it for both the quality and the price.

Nestled in the rolling hills of Cesano, in northern Rome, the La Melazza farmhouse is a true oasis of peace just a stone's throw from the city. A meticulously renovated historic farmhouse nestled in the beautiful Lazio countryside and enhanced by the picturesque proximity of two lakes, which lend the atmosphere an authentic and relaxing charm. The location is striking from the first glance for its care, order, and attentiveness to guests. Every detail is designed to ensure comfort and hospitality, with easy access, including for those with disabilities, and ample, convenient and functional parking nearby. The large facility also features a dedicated children's area, professionally supervised by trained entertainers who ensure their entertainment, allowing adults to enjoy lunch in complete tranquility. The staff lived up to expectations: numerous in relation to the number of seats, knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and always ready to satisfy every need, with prompt but never intrusive service. The January 1, 2026, menu was a true gastronomic journey, in the name of tradition and quality. The abundant and beautifully presented appetizers showcased local products: aged local cured meats, sheep's milk cheeses accompanied by homemade jams, a delicious grain, legume, and porcini mushroom soup with crispy pastry, crostini with stracchino and ciauscolo, and a fragrant and impeccable mixed fry. The first courses confirmed the excellence of the cuisine: from the water-and-flour strozzapreti with crispy bacon, cherry tomatoes, and buffalo mozzarella, to the refined chestnut flour cappellacci stuffed with DOP sheep's milk ricotta, IGP speck, and chives, topped with Cuor di Maremma pecorino and sage. The second courses, masterfully cooked at a low temperature, brought out the best in flavors and textures: succulent porchetta with sweet and sour radishes and beef cheek with Valpolicella risotto, accompanied by baked potatoes and a fresh salad of fennel, oranges, and Taggiasca olives. To round out the meal, an original and delicious "Biscomisù," followed by traditional desserts: panettone, pandoro, and clementines. The attention paid to children was also excellent, with a complete, simple, and delicious Kids' Menu, designed specifically for them. Considering the quality of the offerings, the price of the adult menu (€40.00) is more than reasonable, as is the children's menu. In light of our experience, La Melazza confirms itself as an ideal location and highly recommended for any type of event: family reunions, internships, first communions, weddings, and many other special occasions. An extremely positive experience from every perspective. We will definitely be back.

Sunday lunch with a fixed menu at this agriturismo surrounded by greenery. The exterior of the property is well-maintained, while the interior dining area is spacious with numerous tables. The children's entertainment service is fairly well organized, although they don't pay much attention to ensuring that children who wander off return to their parents. As for the menu and dishes offered, I find them average in quality (neither exceptional nor exceptional), but below average in terms of quantity. The price, including drinks, seems a bit disproportionate for what's on offer. A good diversion for a day immersed in nature, but without too many expectations!

🌿 Agriturismo La Melazza – A promising location, but a disappointing experience The exterior of the agriturismo is truly well-kept, surrounded by greenery and boasting a relaxing atmosphere. The presence of the horses is definitely the highlight: beautiful to look at and capable of adding a special touch to the environment. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to expectations. The service was extremely slow: we were seated at 1:00 PM and weren't served our main course until 4:00 PM. An excessive wait that detracted from the enjoyment of the meal. As for the food, it was nothing memorable. The dishes lacked character, distinctive flavors, or thoughtful presentation. A real shame, considering the potential of the place. In short, an agriturismo with an enchanting setting and some interesting features, but one that needs to significantly improve its service and the quality of its cuisine to offer a truly enjoyable experience.
