Agriturismo La Gemma del Parco In Paola

08/01/2025: We had lunch a few days ago with the family. The first excellent. The meat second courses are excellent. Even dessert. Why then three stars? As one of the second courses is the rib, which goes by weight, we asked how much it weighed and we were told from 900 grams to one kg. Then in fact something more than a kilo and a half was added to the bill. We would have liked to see the piece before cooking (also because it had some fatty parts). Since it was not the described weight, but 50% more, it was polite to advise and ask if it was ok. Also because we could have chosen whether to keep it and cancel another second. It's a shame for this lack of attention, I definitely would have given a higher rating.

05/01/2025: At the suggestion of the fantastic Nicola (Il Nibbio di Morano Calabro, delightful person and village) we went to have lunch here with a couple of friends. It was a spot-on recommendation to say the least in terms of quality, variety and courtesy of the staff. To this I add the attention that the staff - including the chef - gave us when my boyfriend had a bite stuck in his mouth. Absolutely recommended!!
